“Any fool can know. The point is to understand.” ~Albert Einstein
You know…. sometimes it all may be very simple… and sometimes…. not so much. Often… it is a whole lot of both.
I’ve written this thing a dozen times tonight, and I keep coming back to the same places. Which are:
1. We don’t always have to be right.
2. We can learn lessons from anyone, anywhere, anytime.
In our place here in the world….. the teachings abound. We should soak it up. The existence here on earth is so dang vast and expansive. We just have to be wise enough to figure out what it IS we are supposed to learn.
The real lesson of life is not about knowledge. And it certainly isn’t about being right. It is all about experience and understanding. Again… it can come from anywhere. The acorn on the ground…. or the squirrel on the fence… who is about to pick it up.
If we live with an open heart and an open mind… we just might be a whole lot happier. It is a good thing, I propose…. that we allow ourselves to get the most that we can from every situation that we find ourselves in.
Squirrel nuts, or not.
