He said. She said.

I love a good quote.

From the time I was very young, I have been quoting the notable.  Back then it was the likes of any dynamic figure in a book or on TV.  From Fred Flinstone to Dr. Seuss.  Bugs Bunny to the Honeymooners.  Every once in a while, I would throw in some Edgar Allen Poe, Rudyard Kipling, or Henry David Thoreau, thanks to my Dad.

There are many things said, which bear repeating.
And then, there are many things said… which were better left unspoken.

Nonetheless.  I won’t do much of the speaking tonight.  But I will leave you with this.

“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children…to leave the world a better place…to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

“All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered; the point is to discover them.”  — Galileo Galilei quotes

“Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do.”  — Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

“If the person you are talking to doesn’t appear to be listening, be patient. It may simply be that he has a small piece of fluff in his ear.”  —   Winnie the Pooh
