As I work on this project, it becomes clearer to me the reason I started this. I needed to shoot more, yes, but I also needed to work on developing my personal style. I was told tonight that most great professional photogs work 10 years in the field before their true style emerges. (Oh. Good thing I started this endeavor at such a young age, I’ll tell you.) The other part, was they said to shoot my life. Shoot what I see, and do, and know.
One thing I see a lot of, every day, are these wonderful rooftops. For now, I see most of them from the street level. Maybe, I will be afforded some higher ground on occasion, to see them more closely, and from different angles.
