“Eight Manes-a-Mailing”

You’ve all heard of “The Pony Express”….. right?
Well, prior to naming it “The Pony Express” the westward mail carriers were deemed “Eight Manes-a-Mailing” (It most typically took a team of eight horses to make the entire journey to distribute the mail from east to west coast) ….. not quite as catchy as the whole “cute little ponies” shuttling letters to and fro. But I kind of like the original slogan. Just me. I’m funny that way.
