So many years, it was the same thing, day in and day out. At that moment, Jill decided she’d finally had enough. She firmly grasped his arm, and looked at him with a deep sense of concern and purpose. She took a deep breath, and spoke with all the earnestness at her command. “We just can’t do this any longer. You’ve broken your crown for the last time. Please Jack, put down the pail. Today, we are going to buy bottled water.”
And so it ended on that day.
No more falling down the hill.
No more tumbling after.
Just Evian for ever more.
