The Not Green Tomato

It could be.

Obviously, this is not a photo of a green tomato.  I took this some time ago.  I am not sure what it is… exactly.  But I can tell you what it looks like… just by seeing it.

And so.

Sometimes, what I would like to say… has already been said.  And by people a lot smarter than me.   So tonight, I will not try to reinvent the green tomato.

“Strange is our situation here upon earth. Each of us comes for a short visit, not knowing why, yet sometimes seeming to a divine purpose. From the standpoint of daily life, however, there is one thing we do know: That we are here for the sake of others…for the countless unknown souls with whose fate we are connected by a bond of sympathy. Many times a day, I realize how much my outer and inner life is built upon the labors of people, both living and dead, and how earnestly I must exert myself in order to give in return as much as I have received.” – Albert Einststein

“When you have come to the edge Of all light that you know And are about to drop off into the darkness Of the unknown, Faith is knowing One of two things will happen: There will be something solid to stand on or You will be taught to fly” – Patrick Overton
