Now I know I\u2019ve written on this subject before.\u00a0 But this time\u2026. dang it.\u00a0 I mean it.<\/p>\n

One of the things I am truly coming to appreciate is the cultural differences in our world.\u00a0\u00a0 As far as this goes\u2026. I suggest that there is no right way or wrong way.\u00a0 Simply put\u2026. each of us were born in a different place and a different time.\u00a0 That\u2019s all.<\/p>\n

We are different.\u00a0 But all of us\u2026. very much the same.<\/p>\n

As it was so aptly put to me a couple of days ago:\u00a0 There are three kinds of people in this world.\u00a0 Good People.\u00a0 Bad People.\u00a0 And Politicians.<\/p>\n

At first I wasn\u2019t completely sure about this statement.\u00a0 And then I realized it is quite true.\u00a0 We draw separations between our cultures because of politics.\u00a0 Power. Rooster Feathers.\u00a0 And the like.<\/p>\n

When in fact\u2026. we are all here together.\u00a0 What we wear.\u00a0 How we eat.\u00a0 Who we believe in.\u00a0 How we pray.\u00a0 All the same\u2026 but unique.<\/p>\n

This little boat ride is teaching me a lot.<\/p>\n

And. About today.\u00a0 We stopped in Stockholm, Sweden.\u00a0 Another amazingly beautiful city.\u00a0 Clean. Vibrant.\u00a0 Old.\u00a0 Full of History.\u00a0 Inviting.\u00a0 Yummy.\u00a0 Stockholm has a coolness about it.\u00a0 Cool\u2026. like\u2026 leather-jacket-meets-cotton-candy cool.\u00a0\u00a0 It was delightful and engaging.<\/p>\n

We only had the chance to sample a morsel of this grand city today.\u00a0 The city of Vikings\u2026 and nobles\u2026 and old ships.\u00a0 Islands.\u00a0 Swedish Fish.<\/p>\n

We visited a little village called Sigtuna.\u00a0 We explored Old Town near the Grand Palace in Stockholm.\u00a0 And finally, toured the Vasa Museum.\u00a0 The Vasa was a grand Swedish warship built in 1628.\u00a0\u00a0 It sunk to the bottom of the sea on its maiden voyage.\u00a0 Really…. it only sailed about 1,300 meters, I think. They found it 333 years later\u2026 brought it up from the depths of the lake\u2026 and now it is on display in its very own museum.\u00a0 This was quite overwhelming to see\u2026.and consider.<\/p>\n

Yep.\u00a0 It was a grand day. And just remember… a Viking is just a another dude in a little party hat.<\/p>\n
