How often do things go as we plan them?\u00a0 Well, if you are a rocket scientist or a heart surgeon, they better go well most all of the time.<\/p>\n

But, for the most of us, things don’t always go as planned. Okay. For instance. The other night let’s say you wanted to watch the game on TV, and eat cheese and crackers, and drink chocolate milk with a straw. But the phone rings, and it’s Trudy, and\u00a0 you haven’t talk to her since the third grade. So you end up\u00a0 chatting and chatting about laundry detergent.<\/p>\n

And the next thing you know it, the dog has eaten the cheese and crackers from the coffee table. The Nestl\u00e9 Quick Bunny has come back and reclaimed his chocolate milk. And the games in the seventh inning. We’re losing.<\/p>\n

Not as planned, so much.<\/p>\n

So why do we plan?\u00a0 Well.\u00a0 We mostly need it for direction.\u00a0 We have a task, or an idea, or an adventure\u2026 and we figure out how to do it.\u00a0 And of douse\u2026. we have hopes for smooth sailing along the way.<\/p>\n

Now\u2026. in the case of this photo.\u00a0 I would say that the planning schematics had a lot to be desired.\u00a0 Either those folks never planed on getting electricity\u2026. OR\u2026. they never expected that little tiny tree to grow so tall.<\/p>\n

Either way\u2026 it didn\u2019t work out very well for the tree.<\/p>\n

So sometimes our planning has an effect on more than just our immediate selves\u2026 and that is when the pressure really adds up.<\/p>\n

Like\u2026 you have invited friends over for dinner.\u00a0 Do you really think four bags of Crunchy Cheetos, and six Cream Sodas will really be enough?<\/p>\n

All I know is\u2026 it is a dang good thing I am not a Rocket Scientist.<\/p>\n
