Oh, tonight I am not feeling very creative.\u00a0 So how about a few fast fun facts that have to do with things I’ve thought about today?<\/p>\n

I don’t see as well as I used to.\u00a0 I am forever grateful for eye glasses…. and now bifocals.\u00a0 BUT… here is a misconception about eyesight.\u00a0 There are more than 1,200 species\u00a0 of bat in the world and not one of them is blind.\u00a0 Throw that old catchy saying out the window….\u00a0 I am no longer “Blind as a Bat”<\/p>\n

Here’s something more we don’t get right about animals.\u00a0 There are 4,800 species of frogs in the world….. but only one of them goes \u201cribbit.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 And I am pretty sure… none of them really say… BUD…. WEIS…… ER.<\/p>\n

And speaking of speaking…..<\/p>\n

I am trying to learn a little bit of the Russian language.\u00a0 Just in case the tanks really get rolling over there…. and we HAVE to learn it.\u00a0 Now… for some strange reason, Russians have no word for \u201cblue,\u201d\u00a0 only two different words for\u00a0 \u201clight blue\u201d and \u201cdark blue.\u201d\u00a0 I guess when everything is frozen…. and that dang cold…. you have to give people different distinctions of color there.\u00a0 \u2028”Yes, I would say Yuri was so cold he was dark blue.\u00a0\u00a0 But his brother, Androv, was much warmer.\u00a0 He was light blue.”<\/p>\n

And while we are on the subject of colors…..Andy Warhol always wore\u00a0 green underpants.\u00a0 I have no idea why.\u00a0 I think the guy was a little quirky….. maybe.\u00a0 Or… it could have had something to do with Campbell’s Split Pea Soup.<\/p>\n

Switching gears…. and in to the kitchen.<\/p>\n

They say too much of a good thing….. can be bad.\u00a0 Or something like that.\u00a0 Maybe it is…. too much of anything isn’t good.\u00a0 Whichever the case…. here is proof of its validity.\u00a0\u00a0 In 1999, a four-year-old girl\u00a0 turned yellow after drinking too much Sunny Delight.\u00a0 Shine on.<\/p>\n

Now… one thing I normally can’t get enough of is a super duper hamburger.\u00a0 Boy, oh boy…. I love a good burger.\u00a0 I wanted one for dinner tonight… but didn’t feel like going out.\u00a0 I even love a\u00a0 MickeyDee’s.\u00a0\u00a0 Now here’s the thing……. 4,000 McDonald\u2019s hamburgers\u00a0 (as many as you could get from one cow) are eaten every minute.\u00a0 That’s a lot of beef every hour, on the hour.<\/p>\n

But I think better it be beef than some other thing.\u00a0 For instance….. every year,\u00a0 4 million cats\u00a0 are eaten in Asia.\u00a0 Special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions…. on a sesame seed bun.\u00a0 Hold the whiskers.<\/p>\n
