Sometimes, I am just driving along, singing a song….\u00a0 and something will catch my eye.\u00a0 It could be anything really.<\/p>\n

A tree branch.\u00a0 A hubcap.\u00a0 A barn, a bakery sign, or a broken window.<\/p>\n

And I have to turn the car around, pull over, and get out and shoot it.<\/p>\n

Today…. it was a water tower.<\/p>\n

I guess I am thankful for this indescribable behavior.<\/p>\n

Sometimes…. I try to fight the feeling…\u00a0 especially if I have just enough time….. to be on time…. wherever it is I am going.<\/p>\n

“Do not stop this car Polly.\u00a0 Do not.”\u00a0 But then, before you know it…. I am a mile down the road… and now I REALLY have to turn around and go back.<\/p>\n

So there it is.\u00a0 That’s what happens to me.\u00a0 On more days than not.<\/p>\n

And today it happened once again.\u00a0 It was a water tower in West Carrollton.\u00a0 I have hundreds of these photos on hard drives… that most people will never see.<\/p>\n

But I saw it.\u00a0 And for some reason, I had to capture that moment… that thing… just as it was when it caught my eye.\u00a0 Well, my mind’s eye.<\/p>\n

I don’t really have much to say tonight about anything, other than I wonder if other people are like me.\u00a0 If my friends have a mind’s eyes…. things that give you pause.\u00a0 That make you stop.\u00a0 And pull you in.<\/p>\n
