I have a lot of favorite phrases.<\/p>\n

My life can be summed up with the enduring and vernacular expression\u2026. \u201cLittle did she know\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n

If that isn\u2019t all encompassing of my existence\u2026 I don\u2019t know what else could be.\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 Little did she know\u2026\u00a0 I walk the walk, and talk the talk, with that one.<\/p>\n

In fact, I roll out of bed, each and every morning, and have the grand understanding of its impending forecast.\u00a0\u00a0 I don\u2019t know one thing for sure about the day ahead of me.\u00a0 Not one thing.<\/p>\n

Really, it is true for all of us.\u00a0 Sure, we can make plans, and have appointments scheduled.\u00a0 We map out our moves.\u00a0 After waking, we can pretty much count on\u00a0 putting on our slippers, and making it to the restroom within the next couple of minutes\u2026. to have our first pee of the day.<\/p>\n

But we don\u2019t know it for sure.<\/p>\n

I wish we had guarantees.\u00a0 Assurances.\u00a0 But we don\u2019t.\u00a0 Life is uncertain, and most-certainly ever-changing.<\/p>\n

Which brings me to another favorite phrase.\u00a0 Lo and Behold.<\/p>\n

Lo and Behold, she was on her way to the bathroom, tripped on the iPhone charging cord, and twisted her ankle. However, she was able to hobble in, and still managed a successful \u201cfirst pee of the day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lo and Behold is an old phrase.\u00a0 It has been around since the 1700s.\u00a0 Lo, I found out\u2026 stands for the Middle English \u201cloke\u201d \u2014 meaning look.\u00a0 So. The literal meaning of the expression is “look and see.\u201d<\/p>\n

Look and see.\u00a0 Well, that in itself is pretty profound isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n

Again, that could pretty much summarize everything which happens to us\u2026. and all that we perceive\u2026.. in the greatest spans of the entire universe.\u00a0 We simply have to \u2026. look\u2026 and see.<\/p>\n

And when you put the two together.\u00a0 Holy smoke-a-roley.<\/p>\n

Little did she know\u2026.
\nLook.
\nAnd See.<\/p>\n

And so, once again.\u00a0\u00a0 There you have it\u2026.\u00a0\u00a0 What? I don’t know… but there it is.<\/p>\n
