I would love to tell you about my incredible patience.<\/p>\n

I would.<\/p>\n

But I can\u2019t. Because I have little to none.\u00a0 You see, when it comes to patience, I am my Mother\u2019s Daughter.\u00a0 She has zero.<\/p>\n

Now my Dad on the other hand, had the patience of Job. And then some.\u00a0 Seriously.<\/p>\n

But not Moi.<\/p>\n

If I had read my Horoscope today, I am sure it would have said\u2026 \u201cYou will be on the phone from morning until night.\u00a0 Get your ear warmed up now.\u201d<\/p>\n

And there it was\u2026 just like my Horoscope would have said.<\/p>\n

I had to be on the phone, for a lot of different reasons.\u00a0 Mostly business-type issues.\u00a0 But not a single call was of personal enjoyment.\u00a0 And as it turned out, that phone was on my ear the better part of the day.<\/p>\n

Heck, when it comes down to it, I don\u2019t like talking on the phone. Period. Even when it is a family member, or friend, or someone I care about.\u00a0 It just isn\u2019t something that rocks my world.<\/p>\n

So you might imagine\u2026 that I don\u2019t care to talk to the likes of the Automated Menus, and all that ensue.\u00a0 In today\u2019s case\u2026 it was the tech support team at Apple. AND\u2026. The billing department at Time Warner Cable.\u00a0 The internet specialists at Verizon.\u00a0 The people at Direct TV.\u00a0 And even the 17 minutes on hold with CenturyLink only to get disconnected when the \u201cagent\u201d attempted to answer my line.\u00a0\u00a0 But the entire time I was on hold\u2026 CenturyLink assured me that they value ME as a customer.\u00a0 I love to be loved, I\u2019ll tell you.<\/p>\n

Of these calls, only one issue was resolved.\u00a0 Apple.\u00a0 But I had to tell the Tech Support person what we needed to do.\u00a0 She had to check with her supervisor.\u00a0 When she got back on the line, she concurred.\u00a0 Thanks Mr. Big Apples.<\/p>\n

So why do I tell you all of this?\u00a0 Why have I put you through this harrowing tale, when I am supposed to be uplifting, funny, and insightful.<\/p>\n

I tell you all of this for one reason only.<\/p>\n

Misery Loves Company.<\/p>\n
