There are some things I wonder about literature.<\/p>\n

We have chickens now.\u00a0\u00a0 Of course.\u00a0 They are not giving eggs yet.\u00a0 Big drag for me.\u00a0 But that\u2019s not what I am thinking of eggs-actly.<\/p>\n

Humpty-Dumpty was one big dang egg.\u00a0 I wonder what laid him?
\n(And all you gutter-brains out there\u2026. Don\u2019t say \u201chis girlfriend\u201d\u2026.and that\u2019s why they called him Humpty.)\u00a0\u00a0 Seriously.\u00a0 I wonder what the heck gave birth to old Mr. Humpty D.<\/p>\n

Okay.\u00a0 While we are on names.\u00a0 How about Winnie the Pooh.\u00a0 His name is Winnie.\u00a0 Not Pooh.\u00a0 I am not sure what a Pooh is\u2026 some kind of a stuffed\u00a0 bear, I suppose.\u00a0 But the dude\u2019s name is Winnie.<\/p>\n

Why in the heck would Ms. Muffet choose to eat Curds and Whey?\u00a0 I mean really\u2026 she was having the lumps and liquid found in cottage cheese.\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0\u00a0 Eating her Cottage Cheese.
\nSo\u2026. \u201cAlong came a spider, who looked at her knees.\u201d<\/p>\n

The next one is sad.<\/p>\n

Hansel and Gretel may be the first documented case of parental abuse.\u00a0 I\u2019m pretty sure of it.<\/p>\n

Speaking of sad….<\/p>\n

My Mom never gave me a spoonful of sugar, to help the medicine go down.\u00a0 And I didn\u2019t have a Nanny.\u00a0 Unless you count my Evil Stepsisters\u2026 who really weren\u2019t Stepsisters.\u00a0 But now we are getting personal.<\/p>\n

The Hookah-Smoking Caterpillar in Alice In Wonderland was really a Mushroom-Pushing Drug Dealer.\u00a0 And was it all really just a dream?<\/p>\n

I am surprised that I still love to eat Ham, after reading the likes of Charlotte\u2019s Web, and Babe: The Gallant Pig.\u00a0 Those pigs found out about going to slaughter, and they still liked us humans.\u00a0 Animals are forgiving that way.<\/p>\n

Which brings me to this.\u00a0 Life has its ups-and-downs for everyone, I think.\u00a0\u00a0 We all fall off walls, and get scared by little things that may drop into our lives.\u00a0 Sometimes people don\u2019t get our names right, or treat us as nicely as we would like.\u00a0 In rare historical cases, people have been sent to slaughter.<\/p>\n

But maybe we could learn something from The Gallant Pig.<\/p>\n

Those who can offer forgiveness are amazing. Or\u2026 as Charlotte said\u2026 Radiant, Humble, Terrific and Some Pig.<\/p>\n

Maybe some day, I will be as terrific as the pig.<\/p>\n
