When it comes to God, and Religion, and Spirituality, it seems that everyone has an opinion, one way or the other.<\/p>\n

And each person will tell you\u2026. their beliefs, or religion, or lack there of\u2026 is right.\u00a0 And. In some cases, if you don\u2019t follow that particular path\u2026 THEIR particular path\u2026 you are damned to hell.<\/p>\n

They may be right.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m here to tell you tonight, I don\u2019t know.\u00a0 About any of it.<\/p>\n

All I know, is that it seems funny to me, that so many people, with so many differing opinions\u2026 can all be right.<\/p>\n

Maybe funny isn\u2019t the right word.\u00a0 I mean\u2026 there have been, and still are\u2026 wars about this.\u00a0 There has been mass human destruction as a result.\u00a0 It all seems a little sideways to me, at times.\u00a0 Most times.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been reading a lot on the subject lately.\u00a0 From a lot of different sources.\u00a0\u00a0 From the Bible to translations of the Quran to books on various Spiritual Paths.<\/p>\n

And I will add.\u00a0 The more I read\u2026 I feel like the less I know.\u00a0 If I read much more, I will be totally discombobulated and flummoxed.<\/p>\n

I guess at this point, I feel like there are no hard, fast answers to any of it.<\/p>\n

I think it is good that people have beliefs and follow those beliefs.\u00a0 Where I smell trouble, is when people try to tell others how they should believe.<\/p>\n

Who can say really?\u00a0 There have been hundreds, and hundreds, and hundreds of years, debating this topic. It goes like this:\u00a0 My God is THE God.\u00a0 No\u2026. my God is THE God.\u00a0\u00a0 And no\u2026. there is NO God at all.\u00a0\u00a0 This debate will continue for eons to come.<\/p>\n

For me, I think that there is a life-force within our souls\u2026. or whatever you want to call that energy space within us.\u00a0 Where we start, is in our hearts, in our own selves.\u00a0 Seeking life, and love.\u00a0 Maybe if we start listening more, and talking less.\u00a0 Prayers\u2026. filled with endless chatter and requests.\u00a0 We sure can “yak” it up when we pray to our Gods.<\/p>\n

Maybe if there truly IS a greater being….\u00a0 a great life force….\u00a0 we will have better luck in really finding that loving energy\u2026 if we listen.\u00a0 Just be still\u2026 and listen.<\/p>\n

Maybe.<\/p>\n
