It was a warm night in April. A light mist filled the night sky.\u00a0 The old white house was quiet.\u00a0 Perhaps\u2026\u2026 too quiet.\u00a0 All six children were fast asleep.\u00a0 They were tucked as \u201csnug as a bug in the rug\u201d as they laid softly in their beds.<\/p>\n

And then suddenly, in the dark of night, the cry rang out.\u00a0 \u201cPaul\u2026. Wake up.\u00a0 It\u2019s time.\u201d\u00a0 The house lit up.<\/p>\n

Some eight hours later the seventh child was born into this world.\u00a0 At 9:05 on a Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

The scene in the delivery room was reminiscent to the scene in the Batman Returns, when the baby Penguin, Danny Devito, is born unto the parents,\u00a0 Mr. & Mrs. Penguin.\u00a0 They were in disbelief.\u00a0 A penguin-child was given to them, there in their great big mansion.\u00a0 But they put the newborn into a basket and released it to the sewers.<\/p>\n

But sometimes, life is stranger than fiction.\u00a0 You see, on this Wednesday morning in April, a Tweety-Walrus Child was born.\u00a0 Oh, indeed.\u00a0 Half Tweety-Bird and the other half, Walrus.<\/p>\n

Unlike the movie however, this family did not abandon the freak-child.\u00a0 Instead, they taught her to be as much like a normal human as\u2026\u2026 humanly possible.<\/p>\n

They taught her to eat with a fork and knife, how to speak the English Language, and eventually how to walk. Though she still waddled, and flapped her arms from time to time.\u00a0\u00a0 The child was an avid swimmer\u2026 like a walrus.\u00a0 And she frequently tried to fly by diving off tall structures.\u00a0\u00a0 However, time after time, this failed miserably.\u00a0 The numerous face plants\u00a0 straight into the ground\u2026. from very tall places\u2026. made a lasting mark on the young child.\u00a0 In more ways than one.<\/p>\n

But I digress.<\/p>\n

Back to the family.\u00a0 They kept her, although at times it was difficult.\u00a0 They drew straws to see who had to hold her\u2026. when she needed to be held.\u00a0 And they could barely stand the smell of her, as she had a voracious appetite for sardines sprinkled with sunflower seeds.\u00a0 When she cried, she sounded much like a Wookie.\u00a0 A big Wookie.<\/p>\n

Yes\u2026. They kept her.\u00a0 But they tried\u2026. as best they could\u2026. not to let her know that she was different.\u00a0 But she knew.\u00a0\u00a0 Deep down inside she knew.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t until 50 years later that the child discovered her true identity.\u00a0 Two letters came to her on the very same day.\u00a0 From the Law Offices of Hockup, Pluckit, and Roach.\u00a0 One from the Beatles, and the other from Warner Brothers.<\/p>\n

The first read\u2026 \u201cYou are the Walrus.\u00a0 Ka-koo-koo-ka-choo.\u201d\u00a0 And the second said\u2026.\u201dYou did\u2026 in fact\u2026.\u00a0 see a Puttteee Tat.\u201d<\/p>\n

She stared down at the letters.<\/p>\n

And wept.<\/p>\n

Like a Wookie.<\/p>\n
