There are truly amazing places on planet earth.<br \/>\n2.\u00a0 To get to some of these places you have to be some kind of warped freak of human nature.<br \/>\n3.\u00a0 This guy was off-the-charts freak-of-nature-ish.<br \/>\n4.\u00a0 Everyone has successes and failures in life.<br \/>\n5.\u00a0 You won&#8217;t find your successes unless you try.\u00a0 This may, on occasion, involve risk.<br \/>\n6.\u00a0 Sometimes things go terribly wrong.<br \/>\n7.\u00a0 Listen to what your gut instinct\u00a0 tells you.<\/p>\n<p>This is what I learned about me:\u00a0 I love to shoot photography.\u00a0 I love to draw and write.\u00a0\u00a0 I will probably never do these things going over a waterfall in kayak, or jumping off a cliff.\u00a0 My office is on the second floor of the house.\u00a0 That is risky enough.<\/p>\n<h1>\u201cFear of failure must never be a reason not to try something.\u201d &#8211; Frederick Smith<\/h1>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tonight I went to a lecture given by a guy who works for National Geographic.\u00a0 He films Extreme Adventures for NatGeo.\u00a0 Great films.
