Do you want to hear how lucky I am?\u00a0 How fortunate, or blessed?
\nWhelp.\u00a0 Here is the deal.<\/p>\n

I know a LOT of cool people.<\/p>\n

I am not bragging in any way.\u00a0 Honestly.\u00a0 It just so happens that when I was born, the \u201cFriend God\u201d must have had a surplus in her duffle bag.\u00a0 And she doled out a whole bunch of them on me…. who I have known at varying points in my life.<\/p>\n

Cool People.\u00a0 Good Friends.<\/p>\n

The have come in all shapes and sizes, from all walks of life, and varying ages.\u00a0 They are from different backgrounds, different parts of the world, and divergent religions.\u00a0 Some are even\u2026\u2026 \u2026.. Republicans.\u00a0 And I don\u2019t even hold it against them.<\/p>\n

But seriously.\u00a0 I am in a very auspicious way because of this.<\/p>\n

Tonight, we had a couple of old friends over for dinner, and the evening was interesting, fun, and never short on conversation.\u00a0 We laughed, we pondered, we joked, we even felt despair.\u00a0 But what a good feeling to have a connection such as this one…. with others.<\/p>\n

And, with that, I must always be sure to give thanks.\u00a0 To offer thanks to you.\u00a0\u00a0 For being on of the cool people in my life.<\/p>\n
