I have a garden.<\/p>\n

Hold the phone Eunice.\u00a0 Let\u2019s get something straight.\u00a0 I do not have a green thumb.\u00a0 At all.\u00a0 I get this naturally.\u00a0 My Mom does not have a green thumb either.\u00a0 The closest thing we had to \u201cnature\u201d were the shrubs in front of our house in Dayton.<\/p>\n

Okay. Let\u2019s get back to my garden.\u00a0 It is a Meditation Garden.\u00a0 And\u2026 it is filled with rocks. Not plants.\u00a0 For the Polly, this is perfect.\u00a0 Lots, and lots of rocks.\u00a0 From boulders to pebbles and everything in between.<\/p>\n

When I am surrounded with rocks, I feel comfortable.<\/p>\n

Meditation comes easy there\u2026. in my rock oasis.. in the midst of a small wooded area right by our house. Did I mention, that I love rocks?<\/p>\n

But here is the deal. I noticed some ants coming into my garden\u2026 from the southern end.\u00a0 One afternoon, one of those ants climbed onto my leg.\u00a0 It completely disrupted my line of meditation.<\/p>\n

Oh.\u00a0 But you all will marvel at my solution.\u00a0 I did not kill that ant.\u00a0 No, no.\u00a0 I decided to build a wall.\u00a0 Yes, a great big WALL\u2026 but just to the south of my garden\u2026 to keep the ants from entering illegally, and without invitation.<\/p>\n

Ants are little.\u00a0 This wall is two feet high, made completely of rocks.\u00a0 Two feet high and several feet long.\u00a0 As I mentioned, I only saw the ants coming in from the southern portion of the garden\u2026 so that is the place to thwart their entrance.\u00a0\u00a0 An ingenious plan, I know.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m quite certain they won\u2019t be able to get in once the wall is complete.\u00a0 Of course, it is costing me a crap-ton of money, and it has totally disrupted the rest of the garden.\u00a0 But dang it, I WILL keep those illegal ants out.\u00a0 At any cost.\u00a0 I mean\u2026 the thing crawled on my leg while I was sitting outside.<\/p>\n
