I could write any number of things about this day.\u00a0 It is true.\u00a0 Yet, one occurrence stands out in my mind.<\/p>\n

Today, I got a massage.\u00a0 I love massage.\u00a0 It can be incredibly healing and\u00a0 beneficial to both our physical and mental wellness.\u00a0\u00a0 Especially when you find someone who is completely amazing with their gift.\u00a0 Lucky me.\u00a0 I have found such a someone.\u00a0 And she happens to be a good friend.\u00a0 Another bonus.\u00a0 (Okay, shameless plug to Mary Christman, who is the best massage person I have ever found.\u00a0 To all my other massage friends\u2026\u00a0 I love you all too.\u00a0 But Mary is like some kind of rarity in the world of healing massage powers.\u00a0 She probably should be wearing a cape\u2026 or start talking like Yoda\u2026 or something.)<\/p>\n

Anyway, that is NOT the thing that happened. It was AFTER my massage.\u00a0 We had talked briefly before we started, and decided the week was on the downside, as things go. It appears there must be heavy energy in the air.\u00a0 Not a great week thus far.<\/p>\n

After we were done with the massage, I stepped into the restroom, feeling completely rejuvenated, and relaxed\u2026. but with a full bladder.\u00a0 I looked in the mirror, and realized just how pathetic I truly am.\u00a0 There I was\u2026 all freshly dressed after my session.\u00a0 Unfortunately\u2026 I had managed to put my t-shirt on inside-out AND backward.\u00a0 Yes. You may call me a Fashion Princess from this moment on.\u00a0 I had my nice big tag hanging right below my neck.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Beautiful.<\/p>\n

Of course, I laughed out loud.\u00a0 Hard.\u00a0 In the bathroom all by myself.\u00a0 I could not switch my clothes at that point.\u00a0 Because\u2026..\u00a0 I had to share my utter pathetic self, with my good friend Mary.\u00a0 We laughed and laughed.\u00a0 I was strutting it\u2026. showing of my new fashion statement.\u00a0 We laughed more.\u00a0 It was just what the BOTH of us needed.<\/p>\n

As I left, I simply hoped I didn\u2019t get pulled over by a policeman on my way home.<\/p>\n

A few things came to mind after that.
\n1. I am so very grateful to the people who are healers in my life.
\n2. Sometimes, we all need a good heartfelt laugh.
\n3. Other times, the perfect moment falls right from the universe, and in to your lap.<\/p>\n

Oh\u2026. I guess if you can\u2019t laugh at yourself, you might need some massage in your life\u2026. or something.\u00a0 I laugh at myself a lot these days.\u00a0 When I walk into walls, or put my socks in the freezer, and the frozen pizza in my sock drawer.\u00a0 And also\u2026 when I put my t-shirts on backwards and inside out.<\/p>\n

But when it comes down to it \u2026 with all the imperfections, shortcomings and the like\u2026 I am grateful that I am who I am.\u00a0 For the most part\u2026 on most days\u2026 everything on me works just fine.\u00a0 But there are days\u2026 when I am especially thankful\u2026 for the little things in life.\u00a0 Like\u2026 not getting pulled over by a policeman on my way home… with my t-shirt on… inside out and backwards.<\/p>\n
