Apparently, I need to slow down.\u00a0 I move too fast.\u00a0 It seems that I have GOT to make the morning last.<\/p>\n

You see, most of the time\u2026 I am just kicking down the cobble stones.
\nHeck.\u00a0 Let\u2019s fact it.\u00a0 I\u2019m looking for fun and feelin’ groovy.<\/p>\n

Looking for fun.\u00a0 Feeling groovy.\u00a0 Well, we all know that the word \u201cgroovy\u201d faded away years ago.\u00a0 If you say \u201cgroovy\u201d now\u2026 people think you are channeling the Brady Bunch. Or… of course… Simon & Garfunkel.<\/p>\n

But looking for fun? Is that going out of style? \u00a0 Evidently that must be the case.\u00a0 I heard some bad news ON the news today.\u00a0 My days of laughing out loud are over.\u00a0 It\u2019s true.<\/p>\n

For all intents and purposes\u2026 LOL is out the door.\u00a0\u00a0 Yep.\u00a0 It is no longer \u201ccool\u201d to say LOL in your text messages or emails.\u00a0 Dag nab it.\u00a0 I like to laugh out loud.\u00a0 I do it all the time.\u00a0 I use it all the time\u2026 because I am LOLing most of the time.\u00a0 I\u2019m watching the circus after all.<\/p>\n

But.\u00a0 The report on the news explained that it is not the \u201cin\u201d thing to write anymore.\u00a0 In fact, only\u00a0 1% of text messages contain, LOL these days.\u00a0 I\u2019m dated.\u00a0\u00a0 Again.\u00a0 Isn\u2019t THAT just groovy?<\/p>\n

Anyway, there replacement now is \u201cha ha\u201d\u00a0 or \u201chee hee\u201d<\/p>\n

Both seem pretty lame to me\u2026. AND old school.<\/p>\n

For me, this whole departure of LOL is a quite unfortunate\u2026. and puts me in a bit of a predicament.\u00a0 As I mentioned, I love to laugh out loud.\u00a0 But\u2026 as you all know\u2026 I am constantly on the very edge of coolness.\u00a0 In my mind.\u00a0 LOL.<\/p>\n

So what to do?
\nWhat else.
\nTrend set.<\/p>\n

I shall come up with my own LOL acronyms.<\/p>\n

BAG \u2014\u00a0 Busting a gut.
\nDOHMB \u2014 Doubled over holding my belly.
\nCLAC \u2014 Cackling like a chicken.
\nGMBO \u2014 Giggling my butt off.
\nSMS \u2014 Splitting my side.
\nIS \u2014 In stitches.
\nJSMOMN \u2014 Just shot milk out my nose.
\nONJPMP \u2014 Oh no.\u00a0 Just peed my pants.<\/p>\n

I think that\u2019ll do just fine.
\nNow I am back to feeling groovy\u2026. and GMBO.<\/p>\n

LOL RIP.<\/p>\n
