Here is a little secret about me and my shortcomings.<\/p>\n

I want to be right.\u00a0 And I want other people to agree that I am right.\u00a0 I think all of us might be this way a little bit.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s face it.\u00a0 We know best, gosh-darn-it.\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 Ours is the best way to do something, the smartest solution, the right way of thinking on this and that.<\/p>\n

We are humans.\u00a0 We have brains, which think.\u00a0 And think\u2026 they DO.\u00a0\u00a0 As such, our opinions on the world and everything in it\u2026 are the strongest.\u00a0 That\u2019s just it.\u00a0 We think we know.<\/p>\n

Simply enough, it is the way we humans are. At least, that is the way this human is.<\/p>\n

I am learning to release a whole lot of that.\u00a0 I am smart enough, truly\u2026 to know that I don\u2019t know anything for sure.\u00a0 I certainly don\u2019t know the best way to do a lot of things.\u00a0 I know people who are amazing at things.\u00a0 And they have qualities I do not possess.<\/p>\n

Community leaders, financial wizards, business gurus. entrepreneurs.\u00a0\u00a0 I can continue\u2026 with gifted artists, healers in massage and touch, singers, and musicians.\u00a0 Scientists, handymen*, bakers, mechanics, mathematicians, seamstresses*, doctors, historians, lawyers, and the list goes on.<\/p>\n

I am learning that there are a whole lot of people who know better than I do.\u00a0 That becomes a fine line sometimes\u2026 especially when we feel very strongly about this or that.\u00a0 It takes some big courage to stand up and speak at times.\u00a0\u00a0 On the other hand\u2026. it takes even more courage to open our minds and listen.\u00a0 One thing I have learned for sure\u2026 my ears have never gotten me in to trouble.\u00a0 Open my mind, and my heart, and let me accept other possibilities exist.<\/p>\n

There is no doubt.\u00a0 We should be our own authentic selves, and start by living a life that makes us happy.\u00a0 This will radiate to others.\u00a0 I have seen it with my own eyes.\u00a0\u00a0 And others\u2026. they deserve the respect to be \u201cwhoever\u201d their genuine selves are.\u00a0\u00a0 They are living a different life than you and I.\u00a0 What might be good for one person may not be good for another.\u00a0\u00a0 Kindness, understanding, and compassion, yet once again.<\/p>\n

So\u2026 that\u2019s what I think about all of this.
\nI\u2019m pretty sure I\u2019m right on this one.\u00a0 Don\u2019t argue with me.<\/p>\n
