I am not always the brightest bulb in the lamp.\u00a0 No sirreeee bobby.<\/p>\n

Sometimes, I am downright dim\u2026. when it comes to being on the right path, it seems.<\/p>\n

I say the wrong thing. I don\u2019t act quick enough, or perhaps I over react.\u00a0 There are times when I feel like I am choosing the wrong fork in the road, the wrong fork on the plate, and the wrong fork in the tongue.<\/p>\n

Try.\u00a0 Sure I try.\u00a0 But not always successfully, I suspect.\u00a0 I know.<\/p>\n

The thing about it is.\u00a0 Learning to get back up once you trip over your own big feet.\u00a0\u00a0 There is a quote about that\u2026. something like \u2026 it doesn\u2019t matter how many times you fall down.\u00a0 What matters is how many times you get up.<\/p>\n

Or as Buddha said.\u00a0 Fall down seven times. Get up eight.<\/p>\n

So.\u00a0 Continue to try\u2026. I will.\u00a0 To be better at this thing called life.\u00a0 Living it.\u00a0\u00a0 Trying to \u201clighten\u201d things up.\u00a0 Sometimes it happens out of the clear blue.\u00a0 Like\u2026<\/p>\n

Today, I had somewhere I \u201cneeded\u201d to be.\u00a0 But \u2026. I had a chance to learn to throw a piece of pottery. Wouldn\u2019t you know it?\u00a0 I sat down at that wheel and worked with that clay.<\/p>\n

It was like magic.\u00a0 It was me, busy me\u2026 having to be exactly somewhere \u2026 in the little time zone in my head.\u00a0 \u201cDon\u2019t sway from the course Polly. Stick to your OCD schedule Kronenberger.\u00a0 Get it done when you say you are going to get it done \u2026 hurry up\u2026 schedule.\u00a0 Time\u2026 tick.. tock.<\/p>\n

And then.\u00a0 A miracle happened.\u00a0\u00a0 I made it shut up.\u00a0 For just a moment.\u00a0 I sat down at that pottery wheel and learned a completely incredible thing about it.\u00a0 And about me.<\/p>\n

Not only did I make a piece of pottery\u2026 a clay jar to hold some of my rocks\u2026 I made a ripple in the wave.\u00a0 A step of change.\u00a0 An ounce of doing.\u00a0 It was the Faeries in the Woods, and the Cheshire Cat, and the Easter Bunny.\u00a0 Magic.<\/p>\n

The bulb got a little brighter.\u00a0 For that one brief shining moment.\u00a0 And I truly hope to flip that switch again\u2026 and again.
