Transformations.\u00a0 They are everywhere.\u00a0 All the time.\u00a0 In so very many different manners.\u00a0 You can count on it.<\/p>\n

To define a transformation would take half a page.\u00a0 But essentially it is a thorough change in form, appearance, or cycle.\u00a0\u00a0 Yes, a change. An alteration, conversion, overhaul.\u00a0 Perhaps a reshaping, redoing, reorganization or rearrangement.\u00a0 Oh it could go on and on.<\/p>\n

Okay.\u00a0 The big transformation in the news lately is Bruce Jenner, Olympic Decathlon Gold Medalist.\u00a0 Now Caitlyn Jenner.\u00a0 Caitlyn is an attractive woman, especially at 65 years of age.\u00a0 Which brings me to this, gosh darn it.\u00a0 Bruce, why oh why pick the name Caitlyn?\u00a0 Caitlyn sounds like a 12 year old girl.\u00a0 Not a 65 year old woman.\u00a0 It should have been Brenda, Donna, Margaret, Patricia, Linda.\u00a0 Something from 1949.\u00a0 But\u2026 I digress.\u00a0 She can pick whatever name and bra size she wants.\u00a0 Free country, and all.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s another example.\u00a0 This one is so obvious.\u00a0 Transformers.\u00a0 The toys, the movie\u2026 you name it.\u00a0 They are those vehicles which transform in a few flips of a hinge\u2026.. into a robot of magnanimous proportions.\u00a0 Now THAT is a quick change artist for you.<\/p>\n

Since we are on movies, and transformations, let\u2019s talk about Harvey Dent.\u00a0 I just thought about the first Batman Movie.\u00a0 District Attorney Harvey Dent was portrayed by Billy Dee Williams.\u00a0 Yes\u2026 a black man.\u00a0 However, by the time Batman: The Dark Knight comes around,\u2026 Old Harvey is a white guy\u2026 played by Aaron Eckhart.\u00a0 Now THAT really IS a transformation. Either that or a major casting error.<\/p>\n

Caterpillars to Butterflies.\u00a0 Grapes to Raisins.\u00a0 Babies to Adults.\u00a0 Ice to Water to Steam.\u00a0 Sand to Pearls.\u00a0 Tadpoles to Frogs.\u00a0 All going through the change.<\/p>\n

You, and I, are in a constant state of transformation.\u00a0 Every little atom in our bodies is in motion, moving from one form to another.\u00a0 Spinning and whirling, and producing all sorts of energy.<\/p>\n

But what kind?\u00a0 What kind of transformation are we?\u00a0 What kind of energy do we make.\u00a0 Are we always finding what is going wrong with life, or do we search for what is good?<\/p>\n

Not only on the outside of us\u2026 in the world which surrounds us.\u00a0 No.\u00a0 What about that inner self?\u00a0 Are we a work in progress.\u00a0 A beautiful painting to be completed?\u00a0 The verge of joy at our very next bring?\u00a0\u00a0 The dark to light?<\/p>\n

What transformations do we have in us?\u00a0 What are our possibilities?<\/p>\n

We are amazing,\u00a0 all of us.\u00a0 I think the prospects are endless.\u00a0 In fact\u2026 I am counting on it.<\/p>\n
