Here are some things that I believe to be true.\u00a0 I think they might be some of the most important things in life.\u00a0 Well, besides a good macaroni salad\u2026 and blue playdough.<\/p>\n

Okay seriously.\u00a0 I keep getting the message of \u201cpeace\u201d lately.\u00a0 Striving to find peace within ourselves..\u00a0\u00a0 AND\u2026. finding a way to\u00a0 live in peace with others.\u00a0 I think, collectively, this is the most important thing we can do in our lives. I truly don\u2019t think anything else comes close.<\/p>\n

You see.\u00a0 Peace equals happiness.\u00a0 To live in peace is the fundamental wish of all people. Whether we all realize it or not. Because.\u00a0 If we have peace, inner peace\u2026. we have happiness.<\/p>\n

The next thing is compassion.\u00a0 It is the \u201clink\u201d that will truly connects all people.\u00a0 Yes, I will say it again. Compassion.<\/p>\n

We won\u2019t always agree with everyone.\u00a0 You can bet ME on that one!\u00a0 But\u2026. it\u00a0 doesn\u2019t mean we can\u2019t get along with them. (See the earlier reference to peace.)\u00a0 When we express compassion and understanding towards others (all beings)\u2026 all throughout our lives \u2026. we have built a path of peace and cooperation.<\/p>\n

We need to learn to live with compassion and understanding for others.\u00a0 One of my biggest faults is when I want others to be on MY side of thinking.\u00a0 This just can\u2019t always be so.\u00a0 So\u2026 acceptance of others and their views.<\/p>\n

We are all different.\u00a0 It\u2019s through these very differences that we find ourselves. We are individuals. Unique\u2026. in all our big world.\u00a0 With all the other unique people.\u00a0 Be understanding\u2026 we each have our own way.<\/p>\n

And finally.\u00a0 I believe we are all basically good<\/p>\n

At the very heart of\u00a0 each one of us\u2026. is a goodness.\u00a0 It can\u2019t be disrupted if we don\u2019t let it.\u00a0 It is in our core.\u00a0 Deep within us.\u00a0 And\u2026 this basic goodness will never go away.\u00a0 We may push it aside, or misplace it.\u00a0 But it is always right there.\u00a0 Right next to your belly button, but on\u00a0 the inside.<\/p>\n

I think when we really pay attention to our own inner peace\u2026the direct result is that we live with compassion, love, and understanding towards others.\u00a0\u00a0 In this\u2026. is the good within us.<\/p>\n

The good within you.\u00a0 And the good within me.<\/p>\n

Acceptance looks like a passive state, but in reality it brings something entirely new into this world. That peace, a subtle energy vibration, is consciousness.\u00a0 \u2014\u00a0 Eckhart Tolle<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
