Tonight was a good night.\u00a0 We went to Oxford and had dinner at Kona.\u00a0 It was pretty delicious, except for the overkill of olive oil on my salmon.\u00a0 I eat a lot of fish these days. You see, I\u2019ve started naming our neighbors cows\u2026. and every time I eat beef… I get really nervous… the next time I drive home.<\/p>\n

And of course there is the OTHER.\u00a0 I tried to order the 1\/2 Grilled Chicken\u2026. but the words would not come out of my mouth.\u00a0 So.\u00a0 The salmon.<\/p>\n

At any rate, we were walking around downtown Oxford and running into everyone Mary knows.\u00a0 Not hard to do.\u00a0 It was a lovely night to be out walking and chatting.<\/p>\n

We strolled by one small shop.\u00a0 In the window hung a little handwritten sign. Psychic Readings 5:15 p.m. – 8:15 p.m.\u00a0 I checked my watch.\u00a0 Eight\u2019O\u2019Clock straight up.\u00a0 So.\u00a0 Why not?<\/p>\n

I went inside and met Ron, the Psychic.\u00a0 A Celtic Psychic.<\/p>\n

I sat down at his table, well equipped with Tarot Cards, and a little timer.\u00a0 Psychics charge by intervals, I suppose.<\/p>\n

This was only the 2nd time I\u2019ve ever done this.\u00a0 The first was in Sedona, Arizona, and it was a bit of a farce.\u00a0 But I was up for some fun tonight.\u00a0 I told him I had no expectations.<\/p>\n

Well.\u00a0 Ron went on to tell me some things about myself, my personality, which were very true.\u00a0 Things that he couldn\u2019t really have known.<\/p>\n

My struggle with something throughout my entire youth\u2026 all the way until after I turned 40.\u00a0 My stubbornness.\u00a0 Hard worker.\u00a0 Artist.\u00a0 And a few other things about my spiritual nature.<\/p>\n

Then he said something he could not possibly have known.\u00a0 It gave me the weeblies.\u00a0 And the wobblies.<\/p>\n

He also said I have a built-in lie detector.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t need a Psychic to tell me this.\u00a0 I can tell right away when someone is lying to me.\u00a0 He noted that I don\u2019t often \u201ccall\u201d them on it.\u00a0 But I know when it happens.<\/p>\n

I have a certain someone…. who has been lying to me lately.\u00a0 I just wish they\u2019d be square about things.\u00a0 It would be better that way.\u00a0 But I guess until they are ready\u2026 I\u2019ll just keep nodding.<\/p>\n

But I digress.\u00a0 When my time was up with Ron, I paid for his services, and away I went.<\/p>\n

I always take these sorts of things with a grain of salt.\u00a0 Heck, if you know me\u2026 I salt EVERYTHING.\u00a0 Yet, he hit a few chords that really made me wonder.<\/p>\n

And I know\u2026 above all things\u2026 WONDER is good.\u00a0 Never be so sure of yourself\u2026. and lose that most precious room to wonder.\u00a0 To explore.\u00a0\u00a0 To grow.\u00a0 And to believe in the things\u2026 that MIGHT just be possible.<\/p>\n
