My entire life has been reduced to this.\u00a0 I have become Mrs. Tweedy<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 Either that, or Mr. Tweedy<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 I am not sure.\u00a0 And that is how pathetic I am.\u00a0 If you do not know Mrs. Tweedy<\/strong><\/em>, you have not seen Chicken Run.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 I feel that somehow your life is incomplete, if this is true.<\/p>\n

You see, Chicken Run<\/strong><\/span> is one of my favorite movies. Ever.\u00a0 But I am a big FAN of the Wallace<\/strong><\/em>, and the Gromit<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 So it would follow that I like Chicken Run.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 Anyway, digress.<\/p>\n

Back to the Tweedy\u2019s.\u00a0 I think, apparently, I am spending WAY too much time with chickens.\u00a0 Lately\u2026 I feel like Mrs. Tweedy, in that I am ready to make my world-famous Chicken Pies.\u00a0 Mass-produced, in fact.<\/p>\n

And I feel like Mr. Tweedy because most days, I suspect those chickens may be organized, and they are plotting against me.<\/p>\n

Now if you had suggested to me 6 to 8 weeks ago, that\u00a0 I would ever harm a feather on one of those baby chicks\u2019 heads, I would have scoffed, spit, and forcefully objected to such an accusation.\u00a0 But today, I am checking Angie\u2019s List for chicken butchers.<\/p>\n

Oh, you can only push a girl so far.\u00a0 And Dorothy, and Edgar Allen Poultry, are really pushing those limits.<\/p>\n

Truthfully, you know, I am mostly joking.\u00a0 There are joys in each day with that batch of poultry.\u00a0 Like today, Tommy found his voice.\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 Tommy is our \u201cpretty\u201d rooster.\u00a0 He looks just like the dude on the Kellog\u2019s Corn Flakes box.\u00a0 And today, he cock-a-doodle-doo-ed for the first time.\u00a0 He surprised himself, and had to give a few more rounds.\u00a0 The other roosters pick on him.\u00a0 He is pretty, AND smart.\u00a0 AND he can sing.\u00a0 He must be gay.<\/p>\n

Then there is one of the Blue’s.\u00a0 She is so dang sweet and really likes to be near me.\u00a0 All the time.\u00a0 I\u2019ve been calling her Ms. Addie.\u00a0 Adele.<\/p>\n

Madeline, or Louise, (they both look a lot alike, and were the pasty-butts when they were young)\u2026. well ONE of them flies over into the New Hampshire\u2019s Sanctuary, and gives them holy-heck.\u00a0 I think it is because she is the smallest of the Orpingtons.\u00a0 She gets holy-heck from her tribe.<\/p>\n

These are just a handful of the chicken stories.\u00a0 As for the ones who have really ticked me off\u2026 well\u2026. I guess I need to find forgiveness.
\nYes, \u201cForgiveness\u201d is the message here tonight.\u00a0 I should find complete absolution for them.<\/p>\n

Is it okay to forgive a chicken?<\/p>\n
