{"id":4099,"date":"2015-07-07T00:03:30","date_gmt":"2015-07-07T04:03:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gollypolly.com\/30473\/?p=4099"},"modified":"2015-07-07T03:21:44","modified_gmt":"2015-07-07T07:21:44","slug":"books-on-chickens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gollypolly.com\/30473\/?p=4099","title":{"rendered":"Books&#8230; on Chickens."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gollypolly.com\/30473\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/chickey.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4100\" src=\"https:\/\/gollypolly.com\/30473\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/chickey.jpg\" alt=\"chickey\" width=\"800\" height=\"586\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gollypolly.com\/30473\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/chickey.jpg 800w, https:\/\/gollypolly.com\/30473\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/chickey-300x220.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I have some good brothers.\u00a0 Three, to be exact.<\/p>\n<p>Well.\u00a0 Sort of.<\/p>\n<p>Two are natural-born brothers.\u00a0 Ed &amp; Jerry.<\/p>\n<p>The other is an add-on.\u00a0 Jeff Golden.\u00a0 He is so much like a brother to me\u2026 he gives me a real-ribbing\u2026. but in exactly the right way.\u00a0 He cracks me up.\u00a0 He keeps me thinking.\u00a0 He is easy to be with.\u00a0 He has a big heart of gold.<\/p>\n<p>My other brothers, Edward and Gerard\u2026 are the same way.\u00a0 Yet.\u00a0 They are very different.\u00a0 Jerry is more all-business, get the job done, motor-head, and man-cave kind of guy.\u00a0 He is goofy by default.\u00a0 Honest, forthright, and upstanding.\u00a0 He has a big heart of gold.<\/p>\n<p>Now my other brother Ed\u2026 is creativity defined.\u00a0 He loves beautiful things.\u00a0 Most of his life has been filled with creating beauty.\u00a0 But it doesn\u2019t stop with his talents and gifts\u2026 for sewing, knitting, cooking, painting, drawing, space-scaping, and on and on.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 His love for life beauty shows in his eyes and in his smile.\u00a0 He has a big heart of gold.<\/p>\n<p>Today, my brother sent me a book.\u00a0 An Epic piece about Chickens.\u00a0 I won\u2019t tell you which one sent it\u2026 but tonight I do the Chicken Dance\u2026 in joy.\u00a0 I am lucky to have such good brothers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>What if you gave someone a gift, and they neglected to thank you for it &#8211; would you be likely to give them another? Life is the same way.
