I used to think Yoda had it right.<\/p>\n

I love Yoda, by the way. Full of wise words, he is. So short and cute, he is.<\/p>\n

Anyway. In his first film role, Yoda says… “There is no try. We do, or we do not.” \u00a0Or something along those lines. Well… I am not quite sure that he is entirely right.<\/p>\n

Oh…. It is true in the fact that we either succeed or fail. But I do believe in trying. One must make the conscious effort to attempt whatever that thing is.<\/p>\n

Okay. \u00a0Here is a for instance. \u00a0Let’s say there is a 50 foot wall in front of you. You say… “I’m going to try and scale that wall.”<\/p>\n

Now just walking away with no intention of not going up that wall…. is “to do not.”
\nConversely, scampering right up to the top is “doing.” \u00a0But what if\u00a0someone scraps and crawls, and pulls, and climbs…. and they get 25 feet up there… and then they fall right back down to the ground. No they did not succeed. But they tried. Hard.<\/p>\n

So I believe….. there is a “try” after all ….. Yoda.<\/p>\n

You see, I think most of us probably DO have a little bit of Jedi Warrior in us. But at the same time… we are a bit more like Dory the Forgetful Fish from Finding Nemo. Somedays… it is the best we can do to “Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.”<\/p>\n

There are times when we just keep trying ….. and continue to make forward progress.<\/p>\n

Tonight… I am moving forward. I am starting a new arena for these meanderings… and projects.<\/p>\n

It is called “The Big Can Do” in honor of the Spirit of Trying….. of people who have that “Can Do” Attitude. So if you need to find me from here on out… Kronytown will be taking a nap. The Big Can Do…. well… it can do.<\/p>\n

Hopefully, this will be everything you’ve wanted in a The Big Can Do… and more.<\/p>\n

At least… I will try.<\/p>\n
