What makes people tick, I wonder.\u00a0 The really good people, who are pretty dang close to Sainthood?\u00a0 And then, on the other end of the scale, the dark, the cruel, the sinister?<\/p>\n

Heaven only knows.\u00a0 Or maybe hell knows too.\u00a0 Who can say for sure?\u00a0 But both ends of the spectrum certainly exist in the world.<\/p>\n

While visiting my Mom, the telephone rang.\u00a0 I just figured it was one of my siblings\u2026 who call Mom on a regular basis.\u00a0 There are a couple of them, and THEY\u2026 by the way\u2026 are on the Sparkly Side of the Mirror.<\/p>\n

Anyway\u2026 one ringy dingy, two ringy dingy, and Mom picks it up.\u00a0 Within a few seconds, I could tell it was some kind of telemarketer, and not a shimmering sibling.\u00a0 The look on her face was priceless.\u00a0 Finally, without a word, she hung up the phone.<\/p>\n

\u201cMom, was that a telemarketer on the phone?\u201d
\n\u201cWell\u2026 yes.\u00a0 It was somebody selling Jesus.\u201d
\n\u201cOh yeah?\u201d
\n\u201cYeah.\u00a0 I told \u2018em Jesus isn\u2019t for sale.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mom and her words of wisdom.<\/p>\n

But it gave me cause to think.\u00a0 Who would be calling a 91-year-old-woman, selling Jesus? I have a guess\u2026 and I began thinking about the scammers, and the schemers, the robbers, the hackers, and the pillagers.<\/p>\n

What do they think when they roll out of bed in the morning.\u00a0 \u201cI wonder who I can totally destroy today?\u201d\u00a0 OR\u2026 \u201cI can\u2019t wait to take something, ANYTHING, from somebody.\u00a0 The more the better.\u201d<\/p>\n

How does that work?<\/p>\n

I know that times can be desperate.\u00a0 Things can be downright hard, making your way in life. Ends don\u2019t meet.\u00a0 And\u2026 daggone it.\u00a0 Some people have a hard lot in life.\u00a0 I get this.\u00a0 But why do some turn to crime, and others turn to working their butts off?\u00a0 I guess ten minutes in a bank with a gun is more appealing than 10 days behind the counter at McDonald’s.<\/p>\n

Most \u201cmodern\u201d psychology suggests that the goal of achieving superiority is what motivates many people to commit crimes. The criminal usually attacks weak victims in order to be in control and to feel superior.\u00a0 Generally speaking.<\/p>\n

I think there is more to this.\u00a0 Much more.\u00a0 Dark vs. Light.\u00a0 Good Energy vs. Bad Energy.\u00a0 With numerous complications, transmutations, and variations of course.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know what the answer it.<\/p>\n

Maybe we need more Deer Licks\u2026 and less derelicts.\u00a0 Or more sticks in the grass, than Stick Ups.\u00a0 And definitely more Photo-Bombs, than Suicidal Bombers.<\/p>\n

And\u2026. I DO know THIS.\u00a0 If there were more Fairy Dust in the world, things would be a lot better.\u00a0 Fairy Dust, Silly Putty\u2026..\u00a0 and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice-cream for everyone.\u00a0 And fuzzy baby kittens\u2026. that stayed baby kittens.\u00a0 That just might be the ticket.<\/p>\n
