There are gifts all around us, I\u2019ll tel you.\u00a0 Sometimes we don\u2019t feel like seeing them, or appreciating them.\u00a0 But those gifts are there.\u00a0 All for the goodness of our hearts and souls.<\/p>\n

Call them whatever the heck you want.\u00a0 Blessings.\u00a0 Good Fortune.\u00a0 Luck.\u00a0 The Grandiose Gifts from the Gods.\u00a0 The nomenclature doesn\u2019t really matter.<\/p>\n

They are the-good-stinking-things in life.<\/p>\n

Now\u2026 they can fall out of the sky from anywhere, or spring out of the ground.\u00a0 Or they could be sitting next to you every night at the dinner table.\u00a0 But not only are they outside of our personal being, and everywhere around us\u2026 they\u2026 most certainly\u2026.are inside too.<\/p>\n

We are smart.\u00a0 We can speak, eat, pee, hear, sing, breathe, walk, hop and touch our index fingers to our noses.\u00a0 The numbers of our gifts are pretty infinite really.\u00a0 All the way down to how our white blood cells fight infections, or how the messages in our brains, from neurons and such, travel at about 270 mph.\u00a0 Yes, we are speedy thinkers.\u00a0 Some speedier than others.<\/p>\n

So imagine my delight and surprise when I sped past this sign on my way home the other day.\u00a0 I screeched on the brakes, and did a Starsky & Hutch 180-spin with my car. (Or\u2026 for the younger generation\u2026 \u201cThe Fast & Furious\u201d Vin Diesel slam-stop.)\u00a0 I pulled into the parking lot\u2026 hopped out of my car\u2026. and did the Chicken Dance for Joy.\u00a0 Yes, right there in the parking lot.<\/p>\n

A Chicken Whisperer.\u00a0 Who KNEW?\u00a0 A Chicken WHISPERER!\u00a0 How the heck does THAT work?\u00a0 Now SURELY\u2026.& TRULY\u2026. this\u00a0 is a Grandest and Greatest Gift from the Chicken Gods.\u00a0 I can only imagine what this may mean for ME!\u00a0 St. Brigid, Patron Saint of Chickens….Thank YOU.<\/p>\n

I am MOST CERTAINLY attending, and I am bringing a HUGE egg basket, and maybe even a skillet.\u00a0 Oh what a day it will be.<\/p>\n

Perhaps I should even go out and by a Chicken. And take that Chicken with me.<\/p>\n

Yet\u2026 all of this begs the question.\u00a0 Do chickens have ears?\u00a0 And if they do not\u2026 how does one whisper to a chicken.\u00a0 I guess I will find out.\u00a0 Another blessing to look forward to\u2026.<\/p>\n
