When the grandkids were a little younger\u2026 like about 12 years ago\u2026 we used to talk about what our Super Powers would be if we were Super Heroes.\u00a0 We had a notebook full of this stuff.<\/p>\n

Oh, we knocked around everything.\u00a0 You could have ANY Super Power you wanted.. anything you could dream up.\u00a0 BUT.\u00a0 You could\u00a0 possess only one super power.\u00a0 That is the way of The Powers after all.<\/p>\n

So, in my Zen self\u2026 I would think\u2026 Infinite Healer\u2026 or Super Psychic.\u00a0\u00a0 But the implications of those could be enormous.\u00a0 Monumental.<\/p>\n

Super strength or speed. Flame thrower.\u00a0 Ice Maker.\u00a0 Storm Creator.\u00a0 Anything.<\/p>\n

I typically settled on Shape Shifter.\u00a0 Yep. That\u2019s me the old Shape Shifter. I think it would be a great deal of fun to turn into \u201cThis\u201d or \u201cThat\u201d at will.\u00a0 Or any \u201cWho\u201d\u2026.\u00a0 (That\u2019s where there phrase comes from, by the way.\u00a0 When people say\u2026 \u201cWell\u2026Any Who.\u201d)<\/p>\n

Digressing again. Dang it.<\/p>\n

Shape Shifter.\u00a0 I could turn into an ANY WHO.\u00a0 I could warp into\u00a0 a turtle, or a speed skater, or a ballerina\u2026 or Jeb Bush\u2026 for all that matters.\u00a0 Now this, is where it gets complicated.\u00a0 So.\u00a0 When you shape shift into a Dolphin, can you swim and breathe like a Dolphin, or do you still have your normal qualities, and just LOOK like a Dolphin?\u00a0 If you get their characteristics\u2026. the Shape Shifter would be best.\u00a0 You could shape shift into any Super Hero\u2026 if that were the case.\u00a0 And be super strong, or fast, psychic.<\/p>\n

I have so many questions and I can\u2019t find my Super Hero Manual anywhere.<\/p>\n

But truth be told.\u00a0 It really doesn\u2019t matter.\u00a0 We are mere mortals.\u00a0 We have our very own \u201cAny Who\u2019s\u201d and that is it.
\nBut, that begs the question.. \u2026.. \u2026 how \u201cmere\u201d is mere?\u00a0 And just \u201cWho\u201d is in your Any Who?<\/p>\n

We are who we are.\u00a0 Each one of us.\u00a0 And in that\u2026 we EACH have our very OWN Super Powers.\u00a0 No Shape Shifting Necessary. I really believe this is true.\u00a0 I have SO many friends, and family, and acquaintances\u2026 who are full of Super Power.\u00a0 They are\u2026 simply amazing.<\/p>\n

They may not leap tall buildings.. but I\u2019ve seen them over come huge obstacles.\u00a0 They may not fly through the air, but they soar through life.\u00a0 All sorts of great qualities.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s the trick,\u2026. finding our talents\u2026. and flying with them.\u00a0 Finding our good, and make it worthwhile.\u00a0 Seeing our \u201cone\u201d thing (or \u201cten\u201d things) and making a difference.<\/p>\n

That is Heroic.\u00a0 In the most Epic of Proportions.<\/p>\n
