It can\u2019t all be easy.<\/p>\n

As much as we\u2019d like it to be\u2026 it just isn\u2019t.\u00a0 I guess it truly is a matter of perception.\u00a0 Some things seem very hard to certain people, and quite easy to others.<\/p>\n

Yet, we all meet circumstances in life which are difficult.\u00a0 To us.<\/p>\n

It is kind of like taking a pill\u2026 \u2026. maybe.<\/p>\n

You see. We need the pill to get better.\u00a0 In the same way, we need things in our life which are difficult.\u00a0 If it were all bright happy sunshine, and good smelling feet\u2026. we wouldn\u2019t have appreciation for ALL the good things in life.\u00a0 The sweet times.<\/p>\n

So here is this bitter pill.\u00a0 And we have to take it to get better.\u00a0 To grow.<\/p>\n

It is probably a lot smarter to swallow it whole, don\u2019t you think?\u00a0 I mean\u2026 crunching it up in little pieces\u2026 and tasting all that bitter, horrible, cat-puke taste in our mouths.\u00a0 Well\u2026 there is nothing pleasant about THAT.<\/p>\n

In the same way, if we face difficulties in life\u2026 in some circumstances\u2026 it may be better to take them whole.\u00a0 Swallow it whole, and let the learning process, start to work on us.\u00a0 But if continue to prolong the pain, for days\u2026 months.. or even lifetimes\u2026. all we have is a bitter taste in our mouth.\u00a0 The medicine never quite got down.\u00a0 Our lesson never learned.<\/p>\n

I wish it all could be easy-peasy\u2026 domineasy.\u00a0 But when that hard thing comes to us, we do our best to get by.\u00a0 We do our best to learn and grow.\u00a0 And begin to appreciate the good things, once again.<\/p>\n

The sun\u2019s going to shine again.\u00a0 We are going to feel better, eventually.\u00a0 But first we need to get past the hurdle.\u00a0 We need to swallow that medicine.<\/p>\n
