Let\u2019s talk about \u201cthey\u201d for a minute.\u00a0 Again, I will reiterate, I do NOT know who \u201cthey\u201d are.\u00a0 But \u201cthey\u201d are everywhere.<\/p>\n

Honest to goodness.\u00a0 How many times a day, do you here someone say\u2026\u201dWell, I read an article on garbage disposals the other day, and \u2018they\u2019 said never to put live snakes in there, without turning on the water first.\u201d<\/p>\n

(Okay\u2026 don\u2019t get too distracted by the example\u2026 it is just terrible to think about really.)<\/p>\n

Back at it.\u00a0 Those pesky \u201cthey\u2019s\u201d\u2026.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u201d come up with a brand new exciting study of evidence everyday.\u00a0 Coffee is now good for you.\u00a0 Whoops\u2026 now \u201cthey\u201d say it is bad.\u00a0 Hey look.\u00a0 Java is now good for you again.\u00a0 And line up the list:\u00a0 Red Wine, Red Meat, Fat, Salt, Eggs, Chocolate, Butter, and on and on.\u00a0 Eat your White Pasty Foods.\u00a0 Trust me on this one.<\/p>\n

Here is the thing\u2026. I\u2019ve come to find out\u2026 \u201cthey\u201d can be quite flippant.\u00a0 And indecisive, wishy-washy, and namby-pamby.\u00a0 You really can\u2019t count on a thing the \u201cthey\u201d tell you.<\/p>\n

Some real & true recents studies which \u201cthey\u201d conducted include:
\n\u2022 New Scientific Study Shows Rich People Cheat and Lie A Lot
\n\u2022 Four or more cups of coffee per day fights off cancer.
\n\u2022 Castration is the key for long life in men.
\n\u2022 Power walking reduces the risk of having a heart attack in half.
\n\u2022 Eating egg yolks is as bad as smoking.
\n\u2022 Female porn stars are happier than other women.
\n\u2022 Do YOU believe in the three second rule? Scientists reveal whether food dropped on the floor is safe to eat (if it\u2019s picked up quickly enough).
\n\u2022 Eggs don\u2019t affect cholesterol levels and Eggs are a great food for weight loss.<\/p>\n

Okay.\u00a0 We won\u2019t hold any of this against \u201cthey\u201d\u2026 as it may end up being bad for us\u2026 in some study somewhere.<\/p>\n

So what do we really make of all of this?\u00a0 What to believe or what to discard?\u00a0 I mean\u2026 in the past two centuries, we have made enormous advancements in science and medicine.<\/p>\n

I know this much to be true for me.
\nWe can learn a lot from other people.
\nThe middle ground in any area\u2026 is huge.
\nHaving faith in others can be a good thing.
\nHaving faith in others can be a bad thing.
\nAlways, always\u2026. always\u2026 prove your source of information.
\nExperience is your best teacher.<\/p>\n

As for the \u201cTheys\u201d\u2026.\u00a0 I think we should be compassionate to others.
\nSo if you ever find a \u201cthey\u201d\u2026 give \u2018em a big hug.\u00a0 They probably need it.<\/p>\n
