Here we are.\u00a0 Winding down our little break away from Ohio.\u00a0 Being in this part of the world….was indeed…. a nice break from the cold of winter.<\/p>\n

And….. this is always a pretty low-key place to visit.\u00a0 There is a lot of lying around and not doing much of anything.\u00a0 Unfortunately, this can be difficult for me.\u00a0 I am a Type A individual.\u00a0 Maybe AAA.\u00a0 I like to stay busy.<\/p>\n

Yet … the last two days have flown by.\u00a0 I think it is because the weather has been so crappy, and we pretty much had to stay indoors.\u00a0\u00a0 So I got a lot of work done.<\/p>\n

A lot of my friends down here seem to be easier with it.\u00a0 With the whole relaxing thing.<\/p>\n

I was working pretty hard on my meditation about 7 or 8 months ago.\u00a0 And then it fell off.\u00a0 Now… I sit down to be with it… and my mind is a busy bee.\u00a0 I’ve always been a little that way.\u00a0 A little busy in my head.<\/p>\n

However, one thing that slows me down is when I am drawing or photographing something.\u00a0 My mind goes away… and I lose all sense of things around me.\u00a0 The world becomes very small…. and very large… at the same time.\u00a0 It is a wonderful feeling to be there.<\/p>\n

And maybe that is where I need to be.\u00a0 Maybe that is my call for life, somehow.\u00a0\u00a0 Where my spirit feels the most at home.\u00a0 Where my spirit can run free.\u00a0 And…. both at the same time.<\/p>\n

To know yourself as the Being underneath the thinker, the stillness underneath the mental noise, the love and joy underneath the pain, is freedom, salvation, enlightenment.<\/span>\u00a0 —\u00a0<\/em> Eckhart Tolle<\/strong><\/div>\n
