If you can’t say cheese, what can you say?<\/p>\n

I had to go to the grocery today, for just a few items.\u00a0 The part of the Grand Cayman Island where we stay, has only one small grocery.\u00a0 They do a pretty good job, but it is not a Mega-Krogers.\u00a0 Not even close.<\/p>\n

So.\u00a0 This afternoon I went in.\u00a0 I needed dinner napkins, for one, and could not find any. So I asked the lady at the counter.\u00a0 She led me to the paper towels.\u00a0 That was okay.\u00a0 It would work.<\/p>\n

Next on the list… cough drops or throat lozenges.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I should give a little more information about the lady at the counter.\u00a0 I was having a hard time understanding her… and she in turn… was having a difficult time understanding me.\u00a0 It wasn’t a hearing problem.\u00a0 Rather, it appeared to be a language barrier. \u00a0 Back to Aisle Five.\u00a0 I asked for Cough Drops or Throat Lozenges.\u00a0\u00a0 She stared at me blankly, so I made a coughing noise and put my hand up to my mouth.\u00a0 She handed me Baby Aspirin.\u00a0 I didn’t have the heart to put it back.<\/p>\n

Finally, I wanted some Ear Buds.\u00a0 I brought some nice head phones along with me….. but they are scrunching my glasses into the sides of my head.\u00a0 So, I asked the lady about the ear buds, and made kind of a dancing move.\u00a0 She took me to the refrigerated cheese section.\u00a0\u00a0 I can understand the first two things going wrong… but this last item went completely awry.\u00a0 What could this possibly mean?<\/p>\n

Well… for now it means we have a lot of cheddar cheese on hand.
\nMore importantly… I think it means.. ….. The mysteries of the universe abound.<\/p>\n
