What about this day?\u00a0 Some parts were soft.\u00a0 Some parts were hard.\u00a0\u00a0 I mean, the weather here is like paradise. Just like paradise.\u00a0 So it doesn’t feel quite right\u00a0 to complain about anything.<\/p>\n

BUT…. we had to take the kids to the airport this morning, and put them on a plane…. northward home.\u00a0 On our drive into Georgetown, we stopped and got some Jerk Chicken for lunch.\u00a0 We asked…..”How do you prepare your chickens?\u00a0 And the guy said…. “Nothing special.\u00a0 We just tell them straight out that they are going to die.”<\/p>\n

At any rate…. back to the kids leaving the Caymans.\u00a0 This was sad.\u00a0 So sad, in fact…. we cried at that dang airport.\u00a0 We are goofy…… I know.\u00a0 We will see them in a week…. I know that too.\u00a0 Yet it was very difficult.\u00a0 Especially for the Mary.\u00a0 The Nanny.<\/p>\n

And away they went.\u00a0\u00a0 Homeward bound.<\/p>\n

It was a great week with both of them, and they are such a joy to be around.\u00a0 They both caught colds…\u00a0 which was a drag.\u00a0\u00a0 We went through a lot of tissues.\u00a0\u00a0 I wonder if\u00a0 you know how to make a tissue dance?\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 You put a little boogie in it!<\/p>\n

I am always asking them “What If” questions.\u00a0 Like… where they would live if they could pick anywhere in the world.\u00a0 Or what they would want to do, if they could have any job they wanted.\u00a0 Favorite desserts…\u00a0 Favorite Musical Artists…. those sorts of things.<\/p>\n

At this age… I am still wondering what I am supposed to be when I grow up.\u00a0 I think I might even want a job cleaning mirrors..\u00a0 … .. It’s something I could really see myself doing.<\/p>\n

So tonight… as I sit and write… I am trying to cheer things up a little bit.\u00a0 It is a good thing I knock this thing out my my computer.\u00a0 The only other thing I had around was a dull pencil?\u00a0 And I am NOT going to write with that.\u00a0 It would be pointless.<\/p>\n
