That good old guy, Albert “The Man” Einstein, use to say to people …. “Ask me if I am an olive tree.”\u00a0 So the person would ask …. “Are you an olive tree?”\u00a0 And he would say….. after a long pause…. “Nope.”<\/p>\n

Okay.\u00a0 He didn’t say that.\u00a0 But he DID say this..\u00a0 \u201cThere are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.\u201d<\/strong> <\/em><\/p>\n

Those miracles can come in many different shape and many different sizes…
\nFirst,\u00a0 a miracle could be a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws.\u00a0\u00a0 It is\u00a0 therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency.\u00a0 Not like the CIA… but a different kind of agency.<\/p>\n

OR… it could be a highly improbable or extraordinary event.\u00a0 Whatever that development, or accomplishment might be …… it brings very welcome consequences. Like a miracle finish in a race.<\/p>\n

OR… perhaps it is an amazing product… or achievement… or illustration of something.\u00a0 Like Miracle Whip.<\/p>\n

Call them what you will.\u00a0 But I am lucky enough to see miracles all around me.<\/p>\n

Most of them… for me…. come in the form of Immeasurable Kindness….. as a result of Absolute Understanding.\u00a0 Both of which are necessary measures of Peace.\u00a0 Who could ask for more?\u00a0 It is way better than Miracle Whip, I’ll tell you.<\/p>\n

It happened to me several times today.\u00a0 A very kind word, or vote of confidence.\u00a0 A display of support.\u00a0 Several things stood out… on this dreary day in January.<\/p>\n

The first happened early in the day….\u00a0 Someone really went out of their way to make me feel better.\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0\u00a0 A friend showed me selflessness, concern, and compassion.\u00a0 They gave me comfort.\u00a0 I am so grateful to this healer.<\/p>\n

Yet another, occurred late tonight.\u00a0 There was a big box in our entry way.\u00a0 It was to us, from US.\u00a0 We were sure we hadn’t sent ourselves anything… and it wasn’t ticking.\u00a0 So we opened it.\u00a0 Inside was Olive Oil, Olive Soap, and Olive Lotion.\u00a0\u00a0 And wouldn’t you know it… a dag nabbin’ Olive Tree.\u00a0 No white dove.<\/p>\n

What could be better to exemplify Kindness and Peace… than an Olive Tree? (Well…. besides the white dove.\u00a0 That would have been double peace-y.)<\/p>\n

Yet today… it seemed to all come full circle, I’ll tell you.\u00a0 When you least expect it.\u00a0\u00a0 Like some kind of miracle.<\/p>\n

Some days I can’t see them at all.\u00a0 Not even when they are as plain as the nose on my face.\u00a0 And that is a big one.\u00a0 On those days…. I don’t know why it is… that I cannot take notice.\u00a0\u00a0 Perhaps my mindset, my unwillingness, my evil-twin.<\/p>\n

But I love the days when I can.<\/p>\n

So I will just give thanks.\u00a0 To those who gave me miracles.\u00a0 To those who gave me peace.<\/p>\n
