If you haven’t noticed, I have been drawing a lot more lately.\u00a0 Some of you may or may not like it.\u00a0 I couldn’t begin to know.<\/p>\n

But I do offer this to you…. the reason I draw.<\/p>\n

I do it, because it makes me happy.\u00a0 I am happy when I have a pen in hand, and when I get to sketch whatever my “little heart desires”…. at that moment.<\/p>\n

I for one, need to find happy moments in life.\u00a0 We can’t be happy ALL the time.\u00a0 It is humanly impossible.\u00a0 Unless, of course, something is very wrong with you.\u00a0 The human psyche experiences a plethora of emotions on any given day.\u00a0 Heck… in any given moment.<\/p>\n

Sometimes we can feel two or three things a the same exact second.\u00a0 Scared, but strong.\u00a0 Happy, but nervous.\u00a0 Sad, but grateful.\u00a0 It just depends.<\/p>\n

At any rate, we all search for happiness, but as I mentioned, we simply can’t have it all the time.\u00a0 I am grateful to find single moments of happiness.\u00a0 Like when I draw.\u00a0 And it is really good if you can gather a bunch of those instances all together at once… into one big happy kind-of-bundle.<\/p>\n

Besides all of that….. It is also an outlet.\u00a0 My drawing relieves built up stress, or negative feelings that I might have gathered up from time to time. Like today, for example.\u00a0\u00a0 I had to drive on Rt. 35.\u00a0 The speed limit was 55 mph.\u00a0 The car in front of me was barely doing 45 mph.\u00a0 So I passed her and went my typical 9 mph over the speed limit.\u00a0 (Law Enforcement People…., if you are reading this… forgive me.)<\/p>\n

So, away I passed at 64 mph and kept up that rate.\u00a0 Well wouldn’t you know it?\u00a0 Little missy sped right up on my bumper and stayed there kissing my bumper until I reached my turn off.\u00a0 I didn’t play along… with the road-rage agenda.\u00a0\u00a0 (No slowing way down and speeding up on my part). I just maintained my predetermined intended speed.<\/p>\n

Yet the woman in that vehicle was hell bent on proving her point.\u00a0 Whatever that point, in her little pointy head, might have been.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, those sort of things work me up, no matter how hard I try to ignore them.<\/p>\n

So… to alleviate that wonkiness…. I try to choose what I call… my blissful pursuits.<\/p>\n

I draw.\u00a0 And I shoot.
\nLaw enforcement people… if you are still reading… I don’t mean guns.
\nThat would be…… DRAW with a pen, and SHOOT with a camera.
\nNo lead in a gun.
\nHowever… there is lead in my pencil… and of course… lead in my foot.<\/p>\n

…. and the wind in my hair…….<\/p>\n
