Maxine, Frances, and Ollie have followed in my footsteps, it seems.\u00a0 Yes, the three have become huge Albert Einstein Fans.<\/p>\n

And so. We have arranged an Special Interview with Albert Einstein this evening.\u00a0 As only the dogs can do.<\/p>\n

How is this possible, you may be asking?\u00a0 Time Travel, of course.\u00a0 We’ve been working on the Time Machine and the girls gave it a test run.\u00a0 Who did they run into.\u00a0 Uncle Al.<\/p>\n

(*Frances and Ollie were too star struck to ask any questions.\u00a0 Maxine conducted the interview*)<\/p>\n

Maxine Swift:\u00a0 Mr. Einstein, thanks for sitting down with us this evening.\u00a0 What an honor for us.<\/span>
\n Albert Einstein:\u00a0 It is my pleasure.\u00a0 Please.\u00a0 Call me Albert, or Al.<\/span><\/p>\n

MS:\u00a0 Okay Al.\u00a0 I’ll get right to it.\u00a0 We used to have a dumb cat.\u00a0 Man, I hated that thing.\u00a0 She thought she was better than the rest of us.\u00a0 I used to chase her from time to time, just so she knew who was boss.\u00a0 What do you think about all that?<\/span>
\nAE:\u00a0 Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding.<\/span><\/p>\n

MS:\u00a0 Well, technically Al, I wasn’t trying to keep the peace.\u00a0 I just wanted to scare the crap out of her.<\/span>
\n AE:\u00a0 Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius — and a lot of courage — to move in the opposite direction.<\/span><\/p>\n

MS:\u00a0 Okay Albert.\u00a0\u00a0 Clearly you are missing the bigger picture, smart guy.\u00a0 Let’s move on.\u00a0 Sometimes I can’t hold my bladder.\u00a0 I am getting older.\u00a0 Our human calls them mistakes.\u00a0 What do you say to that?<\/span>
\n AE:\u00a0 Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.<\/span><\/p>\n

MS:\u00a0 Okey Dokey then.\u00a0\u00a0 Let’s talk about you.\u00a0 Are you pleased with your life’s work?\u00a0 I mean… you are the Genius of them\u00a0 ALL.<\/span>
\n AE:\u00a0 If I had only known, I would have been a locksmith.<\/span>
\n MS:\u00a0 But you are probably the greatest Scientific Mind that has ever lived.<\/span>
\n AE:\u00a0 Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one’s living at it.<\/span><\/p>\n

MS:\u00a0 I have a few more questions for you.\u00a0 Would that be okay… so people can get to know you better?<\/span>
\n AE:\u00a0 Any fool can know. The point is to understand..<\/span><\/p>\n

MS:\u00a0 What do you do for recreation?\u00a0 Sometimes me and the girls like to watch one of those Reality TV shows.\u00a0 How about you?<\/span>
\n AE:\u00a0 Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.<\/span><\/p>\n

MS:\u00a0 Well, Albert, we are running out of time here.\u00a0 The engine is running on our new Time Machine, and we have to be home in time for our Milkbone Cookies.\u00a0 Any words of wisdom for us, before we go?\u00a0 There is just SO much we don’t know about our big world out there.<\/span>
\n AE:\u00a0 The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science.<\/span><\/p>\n

MS:\u00a0 And doesn’t all that mystery just cause more questions?<\/span>
\n AE:\u00a0 The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.<\/span><\/p>\n
