We have all known it.\u00a0 That unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, or is likely to cause a threat.<\/p>\n

Fear.\u00a0 I used to get full of fear when the Abominable Snowman would come on the scene in Rudolf the Rednose Reindeer.\u00a0 Or I would tremble when a snake would slither by.\u00a0 Neither of those things bother me any longer.\u00a0 But I have other things that give me cause for trepidation.<\/p>\n

There is a lot of fear in the world.\u00a0 On a whole lot of levels.<\/p>\n

Just to look at a few……<\/p>\n

Often times…. we fear that which we do not know or understand.
\nOr…. People in big powerful places sometimes use fear tactics to make their positions even more powerful.
\nMaybe….. We fear spiders, or roller coasters, or heights, or clowns.
\nSometimes we fear other people.<\/p>\n

The thing I am trying to remember… all the time… is this.
\nIn the reality of things… each one of us has a place on this earth.\u00a0 Every one of us…. EVERY ONE…. is a necessary part in the completion to the wholeness of the universe.\u00a0 We each contribute “a something” that makes ALL of it… a whole.<\/p>\n

And the truth of it is…. because we exist… we should be guaranteed equality.\u00a0 I’ll say it again…… “every person has an equal part of this whole.”\u00a0\u00a0 We (logically)\u00a0 have no reason to fear one another’s presence, or to fear new situations when we realize that all of us are here… and we are supposed to be here.<\/p>\n

No one’s talents are of greater value or merit….than any one else’s.\u00a0 We all have our abilities, our contributions, our facilities.\u00a0 Our niches.<\/p>\n

And by god, I love a good niche.<\/p>\n

So when we find fear… or anxiety… maybe we should try to remember the truth of our existence.\u00a0 We are all equal and necessary.<\/p>\n

We are all a part.<\/p>\n

So don’t fall apart.\u00a0 Love your niche.\u00a0 And it will love you back.<\/p>\n
