Imaginations are everywhere.\u00a0 Dreams.\u00a0 Stories.
\nI imagine a lot of things.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 However…. one thing that is factual is today’s date.\u00a0 Well… sort of.\u00a0 I mean… humans devised the calendar to keep track of the days, weeks, months, years.\u00a0 So, I guess that is a little imagined too.<\/p>\n

But this is the day of the Winter Solstice.\u00a0 A thing of fact…. and of legend.<\/p>\n

To define it…. a solstice is either of\u00a0 two times in the year.\u00a0 It could be the summer solstice or the winter solstice.\u00a0\u00a0 These two days occur when the sun reaches its highest or lowest point in the sky at noon, marked by the longest and shortest days.<\/p>\n

Now….\u00a0 at times…. we humans can be pretty smart and observant…. and imaginative.\u00a0 The earliest people on Earth noticed things.\u00a0 They knew that the sun\u2019s path across the sky…. the length of daylight….. changes.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They built monuments such as Stonehenge in England ….. or, for example, at Machu Picchu in Peru ….\u00a0 to follow the sun\u2019s yearly progress.<\/p>\n

And the winter solstice has been celebrated as a part of this.\u00a0 The shortest day of the year.<\/p>\n

But since the earliest of times… there have been stories… and legends… and traditions…. passed from one generation to the next.<\/p>\n

And with that…\u00a0 I give you the Yeti.\u00a0\u00a0 Or….. as\u00a0 some of us like to call him\u00a0 …. The Abominable Snowman .<\/p>\n

Now, there have been sightings, time and time again….. of this Yeti… which is an apelike, cryptic creature.\u00a0 He is said to inhabit the Himalaya region of Nepal and Tibet.\u00a0 The Solstice is a huge “sighting” day for the Yeti.<\/p>\n

I don’t know…. I guess I just think… who is to say it isn’t true?\u00a0 The story, the legend, has carried on for hundreds, and hundreds of years…<\/p>\n

So, with this Winter Solstice… I say embrace the things you believe in.\u00a0 Our power lies in the power of the mind.\u00a0 How we think.\u00a0 How we believe.\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 During this sacred day of Winter…. I say… Embrace the Yeti.\u00a0 Find the truth in the Big Snowman. Believe in the Magic…\u00a0 and the Magic will believe in YOU.<\/p>\n
