You know, sometimes I make myself mad.\u00a0 Not mad\u2026. like foaming at the mouth mad with rabies or anything.\u00a0 But mad\u2026.. like angry mad.\u00a0 You see, whenever this happens, the fact of the matter is\u2026. deep down inside I know better.<\/p>\n

But I react\u2026 to some situation in a way\u2026.. or do something, that really hacks me off.\u00a0\u00a0 It is like I \u201cglitch\u201d\u2026 even though I do not wish to glitch.\u00a0 For instance, I may get frustrated with someone, or I may lose my patience, or I might over react, or talk out of turn.\u00a0 And when it happens, I say to myself\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cDag Nab It Kronenberger!\u00a0 The next time\u2026 YOU are NOT GOING to DO that.\u00a0 And then guess what happens.\u00a0 The next time\u2026. I do that.\u00a0 It happens mostly with the ones we love.\u00a0 The ones we are closest to.<\/p>\n

Frequently too, I try to \u201creview\u201d myself.\u00a0 I ask me questions.\u00a0 Most of the time, I answer back.<\/p>\n

Sidebar\u2026. I don\u2019t do this in public\u2026 like at the grocery store or anything. People would think I\u2019m losing it.<\/p>\n

At any rate.\u00a0 Here are a few good questions I ask myself\u2026 as often as I can.<\/p>\n

Why don\u2019t you do the things you know you should be doing?\u00a0\u00a0 The answer to this one is sort of exactly what I have been talking about.\u00a0 I know \u201cwhat\u201d it is I should be doing.\u00a0 But often times, I don\u2019t make the huge effort in this area.\u00a0 Big ding dong that I am.<\/p>\n

What did I learn today? Who did I love? What made me laugh? These are really good ones too..\u00a0 Sometimes, I think it is important to focus on the positive aspects of our day.\u00a0 So\u2026despite anything else that happens, if I can learn\u00a0 something new, love a good person\u2026.. and find something to truly laugh about\u2026..\u00a0 it most definitely was the kind of day worth living.<\/p>\n

And finally tonight\u2026..What or Who did you make better today?\u00a0\u00a0 I really believe that if every person gave more than they took\u2026. it would be a rocking planet.\u00a0 I think a great way to measure our self-worth is to see just how much we are taking \u2026 and how much we are giving. What did I make better on this day?\u00a0 Did I do more good than harm? Did I clean up after myself\u2026 on this planet of ours. And I mean that in all ways.<\/p>\n

Yes.\u00a0 A constant flow of questions to myself.<\/p>\n
