Human beings sure can be a piece of work.
\nI am at the top of the list.\u00a0 We are complicated, complex, intricate, involved,\u00a0 and….\u00a0 at times…. we can be a bit convoluted and tangled.\u00a0 Like a Gordian Knot.<\/p>\n

I suspect that there is not a human on the planet who does not have struggles.\u00a0 Inner struggles.<\/p>\n

Again, yours truly is right at the top of the list.\u00a0 Heck.\u00a0 I have so many inner conflicts… I sometimes feel like I have ALL the Hatfields, and ALL the McCoys… living in my head.<\/p>\n

I also suspect that we get through these in different ways.\u00a0 Some might turn to things, like food, or cigarettes,\u00a0 or thrill-seeking, or sugar, or exercise.\u00a0 Others try prayer & meditation, or drugs, or alcohol.\u00a0 Some people use a combination of things.<\/p>\n

A lot of times, when I get all struggled up inside, or stressed… I get cranky-wanky…. sometimes even pissy.\u00a0 I absolutely loathe this about myself.\u00a0 I know it when it is happening.\u00a0 But it is sort of like a roller coaster.\u00a0 I can feeling it taking the long slow rise up to the apex…. and once it gets to the top….\u00a0 whoooosh… down it goes… and there is no stopping The Beast.<\/p>\n

I don’t always have the where-with-all to do it…. BUT…. the best remedy, for me… is to slow down… and use quiet meditation.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In theory.<\/p>\n

And with all of that said….. I think one of the most important things we can do in our life paths, is to raise our level of consciousness.\u00a0 When we become more aware…. we come a little closer to understanding. (I am speaking for me and the mouse in my pocket.)<\/p>\n

I have to have the intention to \u201craise my consciousness\u201d .\u00a0 If\u00a0 I start with the intention to raise my consciousness and state of awareness,… I am stepping in the right direction.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Again, in theory.<\/p>\n

Today….\u00a0 I could have used a lot more mice, and a lot more theory…. I’ll tell you that much right now.<\/p>\n

But each day… if we recognize our stumbles, and get up from our falls… we keep on walking.\u00a0 Down the right path.\u00a0 To better.<\/p>\n
