\"Energy\"<\/a><\/p>\n

That cold drink you are enjoying right now is a direct result of science.\u00a0 Or that hot drink, whichever the case may be.<\/p>\n

And the lights in your room. Science.\u00a0 The airplane that just flew overhead is also a direct function of science.\u00a0 There are so many things around us that have come into existence because of scientific exploration and discovery.<\/p>\n

Some people have a beef with science.\u00a0\u00a0 I think because certain findings go against their religious beliefs.<\/p>\n

But me.\u00a0 I like science.\u00a0 I like it a lot.\u00a0 In fact, it has a great influence on how I feel about my spirituality.<\/p>\n

(Let me segue on science.\u00a0 There are Laws… which are things that are proven beyond Mergatroid.\u00a0 Then there are Theories.\u00a0 And Postulations.\u00a0 And Hypothesis.\u00a0\u00a0 These things are based on good excellent indications…. but not proven… 100% beyond a shadow of a doubt.\u00a0 Then there are those things called Studies.\u00a0 Heck.\u00a0 Anybody can run a study…. and the results change from month to month.\u00a0 “A recent study shows that ice-cream may increase flexibility in your right knee.\u00a0 And coffee is bad for you…. again.”\u00a0 Take those studies with a grain of salt (which is now good for you by the way.)\u00a0 But Scientific Law is Scientific Law.<\/p>\n

Now, back to it.<\/p>\n

You see, in science, there is a Law called the Conservation of Energy.\u00a0 It states that energy may neither be created nor destroyed. Therefore the sum of all the energies in the system is a constant.\u00a0\u00a0 Energy in a system may take on various forms (e.g. kinetic, potential, heat, light).\u00a0 But the long and short of it is this.\u00a0 Energy Is.<\/p>\n

I won’t argue it long and hard here.\u00a0 I will just simply say that I think our energy continues on, in some form or another, after our physical bodies die.<\/p>\n

This may fit in with your religious views on people going to heaven and hell.\u00a0 Or… your atheist views about humans going on to be worm food.\u00a0 Or…. it may fit with your view on reincarnation.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Or…. hauntings.\u00a0\u00a0 Or… transcendence.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Energy simply goes from one place to the next.<\/p>\n

I don’t think any of us know for sure what happens when we go.\u00a0 But if we go… we may as well go in style.\u00a0\u00a0 And the best style of all, I think…. is the kind with goodness in your heart, and kindness in your actions.\u00a0\u00a0 Compassion in your thoughts.\u00a0 (Perhaps taking bad energy in a system, and turning it into a good energy.<\/p>\n

The Law of\u00a0 Virtue.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 V = i\u00a0 2u<\/p>\n
