\"wander\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It is undeniably true. \u00a0Today started off miserably. \u00a0It wasn\u2019t by choice, I\u2019ll tell you. \u00a0I didn\u2019t wake up on the wrong side of the bed. \u00a0When I woke, I was on the same side I\u2019m always on. \u00a0And I certainly didn\u2019t start off on the wrong foot. \u00a0You see, I have a left foot and a right foot.\u00a0 There is wrong foot.\u00a0 I wanted the sun to shine… and the birds to sing.<\/p>\n

But\u2026 it all went sideways. \u00a0I should have known things were going to be foul, when I tried to place the coffee pot on the table, and I missed by three inches. \u00a0Now, we have a terrific spot on the living room carpet. \u00a0Soon there after, I spilled an entire beverage during breakfast. \u00a0I assure you, neither of these incidents involved alcohol.<\/p>\n

No. \u00a0Things were going south quickly, and I had no control. \u00a0Next, there were printer errors, and network glitches in the house. \u00a0And\u2026 with the high winds.. our electric went out, just long enough to disrupt all electronics.<\/p>\n

Before long, human communication errors began to spill forth. \u00a0Luckily, we are both big girls, and have mostly come to realize when this is happening\u2026 in the very midst of it.<\/p>\n

But something was running amok. \u00a0If I knew astrology, I probably could have blamed it on Jupiter passing by Saturn too quickly\u2026 before Venus lined up. \u00a0However, I cannot hold those planets accountable\u2026 without knowing the waterworks of it all.<\/p>\n

Finally….I left the house with caution. \u00a0Tripping and falling came naturally today.<\/p>\n

By 6 p.m. this evening\u2026 I thought all was lost for this day.\u00a0 I arrived home and opened the mail.<\/p>\n

Oh Sweet Cheeses. \u00a0A box? \u00a0With my name on it? \u00a0Before I ripped in to the packing tape\u2026 I held the box to my ear\u2026 to ensure it wasn\u2019t ticking. \u00a0Silence. \u00a0So I tore in to it. \u00a0And what to mine eyes did appear? \u00a0A FREAKIN\u2019 MAGIC WAND!<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not kidding you. \u00a0No frilly, sissy-make-believe Disney plastic wand. \u00a0Nooooooo. This is a hand-crafted, dyed-in-the-wool, true blue magic wand.\u00a0 Handcrafted.\u00a0 Solid wood.\u00a0 And a pearly striped handle.<\/p>\n

Shoooooooowwwwweeeeee. \u00a0I started waiving that thing around like a Herminey. \u00a0I changed one of our house plants into a bowl of jello\u2026 which was kind of cool. \u00a0Mary wasn\u2019t as thrilled. \u00a0She loved that particular plant. \u00a0But now we have a huge bowl of lime jello. \u00a0Enough to last a year\u2026 IF we ate lime jello.<\/p>\n

At any rate\u2026 the day turned around just like that. \u00a0All I needed was a little magic\u2026 and tonight.. I was given the wand to get the ball rolling.<\/p>\n

Which brings me to this. \u00a0I should have been able to see the magic that was there all along. \u00a0I should be able to recognize the goodness, that is in my midst, on constant and consistent terms. \u00a0There is so much of the fantastic all around\u2026 all the time. \u00a0And when a little fog gets in the way\u2026 I need to remember that the spectacular is still RIGHT there.<\/p>\n

Yep. That is what I should do.<\/p>\n

But. ……. ……\u00a0 It is STILL WAY okay that\u00a0I SO LOVE my new magic wand.\u00a0 I do! \u00a0 I shall use it all the time.<\/p>\n

….. …..\u00a0 Oh boy oh boy…… ……. .. I hope the Owl comes in the mail tomorrow.<\/p>\n
