“Hey, Bruno.\u00a0\u00a0 Here comes some more people. Let’s hide up behind those rocks again and growl like bears.”<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

“Perfect idea Doyle.\u00a0 This will be the third set of hikers we’ve scared today.\u00a0 You think we should growl like bears, or howl like wolves?”<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

“Definitely bears.\u00a0 That scares the holy heck out of them.\u00a0 Who knew life in Utah could be so much fun?”<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Oh.\u00a0 Those sneaky moments in life.<\/p>\n

Yep.\u00a0 That sure can be the deal.\u00a0 Often times, things aren’t always as they seem.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 On occasion … the unexpected happens.<\/p>\n

Actually, when you consider the all and all of life….. the unexpected happens more often than not.<\/p>\n

We certainly can’t foresee the future.\u00a0 (Well.\u00a0 Some people say they can… and maybe it is true for them.\u00a0 But for this little camper right here…. I have absolutely no idea what is around the bend.)\u00a0 Most of the time…\u00a0 it isn’t quite what I had anticipated.<\/p>\n

I have read a lot of spiritual teachings which say…. that when we are faced with something that\u2019s unexpected, unwanted and uncertain…. we should consider that it just may be a gift.<\/p>\n

Most of the time, I believe this is true.\u00a0 We may not realize it in the moment.\u00a0 But eventually, we understand that things unfolded just as they should have.\u00a0 We may not always like it…\u00a0 but we learn from it.\u00a0 Hopefully.\u00a0 And grow from it.\u00a0 Hopefully.<\/p>\n

Along those same lines, it is important to remember that ….\u00a0 not everything that counts can be counted.\u00a0 Sometime the things that matter the very most …..might come and go…..\u00a0 without us recognizing the importance.\u00a0 The impact.\u00a0 The bigger picture.<\/p>\n

So when things are quite what they seem…. it could just be…\u00a0 it is our truest moment.\u00a0 In disguise.<\/p>\n

Just like Doyle… the Cocker Spaniel Mix… with a great sense of humor…. and an incredible impression of a Grizzly Bear.<\/p>\n
