Okay.\u00a0\u00a0 Apparently I shouldn’t write about my scientific interests here.\u00a0 In this column, or blog, or digital loose leaf notebook.<\/p>\n

But dag nabbit.\u00a0 I thought everybody loves to Time Travel.\u00a0\u00a0 Especially the part about the food.<\/p>\n

Yep.\u00a0\u00a0 The thing I like most about it… is packing snacks for along the way.\u00a0 Just like when we were kids, and we would pile into the old goldish-green station wagon for a family outing.\u00a0\u00a0 Mom would always pack a grocery bag “Full of Picnic.”\u00a0 Bologna sandwiches, little bags of Fritos, and oranges.\u00a0 Sometimes there might even be some sort of cookie…. like Archways.<\/p>\n

Those were the days.\u00a0 I go back to those days often.\u00a0 Time Traveling is great for that.\u00a0 But evidently, my scientific meanderings aren’t too popular on the Reader’s Choice List.<\/p>\n

So tonight, I will talk about something else.\u00a0 It is sort of scientific, but what the heck.<\/p>\n

Let’s talk Godzilla.\u00a0 The other night we watched the movie Godzilla.\u00a0 The new one.\u00a0 The remake.\u00a0 The one with Brian Cranston.\u00a0 I thought it was really pretty good.\u00a0 As far as Godzilla movies go.<\/p>\n

Remember the ones from the 50s and 60s years ago?\u00a0 THOSE were classic.\u00a0 It was a Japanese based film company… Toho LTD… which produced them.\u00a0 But when they “Amercan-ized” them… well… THEN the fun began.<\/p>\n

You would see the characters in the movie.. and their mouths would open and shut like they were talking…\u00a0\u00a0 And then 29 seconds later… you would hear the English voice-over. … “Watch out!\u00a0 Godzilla is climbing on Tokyo.”<\/p>\n

I loved those.\u00a0 My favorite part about tuning in to them on Saturday afternoons, was snacking on Bologna Sandwiches, Fritos, and Oranges… while we watched.\u00a0\u00a0 Sometimes… we would even get an Archway cookie.<\/p>\n

Okay.\u00a0 Truth be told.\u00a0 It doesn’t really matter what I am doing.\u00a0 So long as the grocery bag “Full of Picnic” is involved….\u00a0 it is ALL good.<\/p>\n

There is a lot to be said in life for keeping a bag “Full of Picnic” with you at all times.\u00a0 It is just like bottled sunshine, and fairy dust.\u00a0 It adds magic to the moments in you life.<\/p>\n

Whether you are Time Traveling…. or not.<\/p>\n
