I want to be nice. All the time.<\/p>\n

Dogs are nice…. and happy… and good… whenever they have the chance. I wish I could be more like my little pallies this way.<\/p>\n

But there are times when I just don’t feel so friendly. I don’t like it when this happens, but it does.<\/p>\n

Which brings me to this.<\/p>\n

Have you ever walked in to a store and approached the Customer Service Desk…. only to find out it is anything but that?<\/p>\n

The person behind the counter is miserable, and they have absolutely no intention of helping you?<\/p>\n

I guess in all fairness… the sign normally just says… “Customer Service” It doesn’t say “friendly” or “quick” or “proficient”…. or even “mediocre” Service.<\/p>\n

It simply says Customer Service. Which… when you come right to it… the meaning could be interpreted as “poor & defective” service… or “despicable” or perhaps….. “malevolent.”<\/p>\n

Today, I approached such a place & person. The man working there was less than helpful. I tried to be nice to him, regardless. \u00a0But to no avail. \u00a0 I ended up figuring things out on my own.<\/p>\n

But sometimes I feel the equivalent of these so called “helpful areas” may as well be a in a deserted barn in the middle of nowhere. Far beyond the reaches of good will, common decency, chivalry, and politeness. \u00a0Even away from the well-mannered cows and the pleasant chickens.<\/p>\n

It is at times like these when I consider getting a Marmoset for a pet.<\/p>\n

Because… as you know…..<\/p>\n

Marmoset there’d be days like this.<\/p>\n
