Yesterday marked the beginning of The Autumn.\u00a0 The Fall.<\/p>\n

There are a lot of things I like about this season.\u00a0 And of course, some things which I don’t.<\/p>\n

It makes me think of pumpkin patches, and old barns.\u00a0 Corn stalks, apples, and Halloween.\u00a0 It brings with it that unmistakeable, crisp coolness to the night air.<\/p>\n

Which then reminds me that winter in on the way.\u00a0 And of course, 91 days until Christmas.<\/p>\n

But Fall also brings with it football.\u00a0 And I love football.\u00a0 College and Pro. I’m not sure why I am so drawn to this incredibly rough sport.\u00a0 But I DO like to watch… and to follow.<\/p>\n

A couple of weekends we got free tickets to the Colts game, so we went on over. I \u00a0am not a big fan of the Colts… but Indy sounded like fun.<\/p>\n

Of all things…. we were sitting right\u00a0 next to four or five nuns.\u00a0 They were all in their old-school habits… the kind with the big hats and side wings.\u00a0 Are they EVEN called hats?\u00a0 At any rate, there were some beer drinkers sitting right behind them, and those guys\u00a0 apparently couldn’t see very well over the Flying Nun Heads.<\/p>\n

So they started jawing it up.<\/p>\n

The first guy… rather loudly says……”I think I’ll move to California, there’s only 50 Catholics there.”<\/p>\n

Then the next guy starts laughing… and chimes in……”I think I’ll move to Washington, there’s only 25 Catholics there.”<\/p>\n

Over course the third bozo had to check in with…… “I think I’ll move to Idaho, there’s only 10 Catholics there.”<\/p>\n

Then….. all of a sudden….. one of the nuns turned around.\u00a0 She looked dead at them and said…..
\n“Go to Hell, there are NO Catholics there.”<\/p>\n

Holy Moly…. do I EVER love Fall.\u00a0 Spike it in the end zone, Sister!<\/p>\n
