How can you be sure, really?\u00a0 Of anything?<\/p>\n

I have said it before, and I’ll say it again.\u00a0 There is no such thing as a sure thing.\u00a0 Just when you think your horse is going to win race… that number eight horse in the purple silks sneaks up on the outside and crosses the finish line first.\u00a0 By a dang nose.<\/p>\n

Or…. with morning’s first cup of coffee in hand….\u00a0 you go out to get your newspaper, from the front step of you house… just like you have a thousand times before.\u00a0\u00a0 But.\u00a0 You open the door, and it isn’t there.\u00a0\u00a0 And your visit to the morning library is calling.<\/p>\n

Another not-so-sure-thing.\u00a0 Just when you thought the Tooth Fairy was going to put a quarter under your pillow… you find out she quits doing that when you turn 23.\u00a0 It was a terribly rude awakening for me.\u00a0 Especially since I had just lost a tooth in a Roller Derby Match.\u00a0 Yep.\u00a0 It is just the way it goes.\u00a0 No sure bets.<\/p>\n

Don’t believe me?\u00a0 Okay.\u00a0 I have proof.\u00a0 Take….. for example…..\u00a0 the world’s “perfect food”… which is honey.\u00a0 It is the only food on earth where something doesn’t have to perish in its creation.\u00a0\u00a0 It never spoils.\u00a0 (They have recently unearthed honey in the ancient pyramids.\u00a0 It was as fresh as a daisy.)<\/p>\n

AND… it is 100% natural.\u00a0 Or so you thought.\u00a0 No refined sugar?\u00a0 Pshhhhaaawwww.\u00a0 Today I found out the bee’s knees truth.<\/p>\n

Honey Bees are going around to hummingbird feeders all over the world, and freebasing the white refined sugar water that’s in them.\u00a0 It happened right here…. on this very day.<\/p>\n

Look at those bees… like some kind of cotton candy addicts, I’ll tell you.\u00a0 I went out on the deck…. and told them to go find some REAL flowers with REAL nectar.<\/p>\n

Wouldn’t you know?\u00a0 The big drone flipped me off.\u00a0 It wasn’t very nice of him.\u00a0 And a bit crass.<\/p>\n

So much for sweet, and pure.<\/p>\n

But what I want to know is this.\u00a0 Since that Bee flipped me the Bird…. is that the real truth behind “The Birds and The Bees”?<\/p>\n

One begins to question everything after a day like this, I’ll tell you.<\/p>\n
